My family and I love coming here. We enjoy ordering our very own customized pizza. My husband and younger kids like ordering a pepperoni pizza, my oldest son and I like ordering a little bit of everything. They have a great selection of sauces, cheese,.eats and vegetables. They even have several different types of lemonade. The mango lime and pink lemonade are my favorite, they are delicious and refreshing. The staff are always nice and happy to help. The pizza ranges anywhere from $12 for a personal pizza to $29 for an x-large ( up to 5 toppings). So not bad for feeding a family of 5. The staff greet you and ask to see if you need anything while dining. Definitely recommend. I've been to this place more than 5 times and will keep returning.

2026 January - I still feel the same way, enjoy coming here, the pizza is delicious and the ingredients are always fresh. Happy New Year!

Horrible service all around.
First occurrence: Ordered a BBQ chicken and there was no bbq on the pizza? No base either so I was eating plain cheese and toppings = tasteless pizza.

Second occurrence: Employee stacked my wings order on top of someone else's order which resulted in giving away my wings to someone else who legit ordered right before me. The employee literally asked for my order who gave away my wings to someone else. I wouldn't be as frustrated if my order didn't came out 20 minutes later- it's not necessarily cheffed up either, this restaurant uses an air fryer for a $20-12 piece wings, to which I could've took my business somewhere else. This was right after the gym too, tragic.

Feedback: Don't stack people's orders on top of someone else's order so you don't mistakenly give it away to another customer.
In this economy, you can't afford to play with people's time.

I understand people make mistake, but second in a row from the same place is kinda crazy.

Oh, and to add the employees weren’t really apologetic either very nonchalant for this kind of circumstance like you know that a customer has been waiting for a while, what if I just sat there and didn’t ask for my food, You wouldn’t have questioned or said anything?

A quote from the employee while I request for a refund: “do you want a drink?” Ngl, I’m more than thirsty at this moment, this was post gym, so I was starving.

Really solid pizza for a chain style! Little to no flop, delicious toppings, good balance between the cheese and sauce. Good ranch as well. Delicious and I’d definitely come here again

Our teen son and two friends ate here recently and were served an overcooked pizza. At some point I’d expect the employees that make the food to actually care about the quality and appearance before serving. It is not ok to serve a burnt pizza just because they’re young kids and won’t complain. The order was for dine-in but put in a box. Attention to detail matters. Please do better.

Pieology pizzeria is my to go pizza place. Everyone can order there own without it be a hassle. No more trying to figure out what kind, everyone gets a medium everyone is happy. Get a side of wings and get a Reese’s peanut butter cookie, and you got yourself an amazing dinner. Don’t forget to get a salad to make a healthy night.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to the Elk Grove Pieology location. I ordered a spicy chicken pizza and midway through eating my first slice, I discovered pepperoni mixed into the sauce.

This is completely unacceptable. Pepperoni is against my religion, and this type of cross-contamination shows a serious lack of care in food preparation. I trusted Pieology to respect my order and dietary restrictions, and instead I was put in a very upsetting situation that could have been avoided with proper attention and food safety standards.

To make matters worse, when I brought this to the staff’s attention, neither the employees nor the manager, Brianna, offered an apology. There was no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation or any sign of remorse. They simply processed the refund I requested and sent me on my way. A refund does not erase the disrespect or the lack of responsibility shown in this situation.

As a customer, I expect better from a company that serves such a diverse community. This experience has left me frustrated, angry, and questioning whether I can trust Pieology again.

I strongly urge corporate to investigate how this happened, retrain staff on food handling, and ensure stricter measures are taken to prevent cross-contamination and improve customer service in the future.

The pizza was crispy and amazing although the crust was a little burnt, the employees were nice and respectful. The chicken wings are store bought and air fried so they were very mediocre, the ranch was good and went very well with my pizza and wings. Very vibrant atmosphere with the green colors. The sparkling ice drink that I bought seems to have expired on april 21, It is currently july as i’m writing this. Pretty disappointed with the drink and wings but the atmosphere and pizza were great .

Pizza was overcooked! really disappointed!!
We buy pizza from Pieology every 2 weeks and usually the pizza is good...but tonight I preorder my 3 pizzas as usual and when I came home I realize that what we had burned pizzas.
I was too tired to go back to complain and return the pizzas (It was already 10 pm)
I waisted $44.62!

Pizza flavor was just ok. The marinara sauce has very little flavor. The pizza was not cooked long enough, most of the toppings were barely warm. The most disturbing thing was how the restaurant was absolutely filthy. None of the tables were clean, there was food and trash on the floor in the dining area and behind the counter where they prepared the food. I was not seeing any hand washing going on. The bathrooms were so dirty, one of the 2 toilets was missing a toilet seat. The toilets haven't been cleaned in a very long time and there were dirty handprints all over the walls and bathroom stalls. There was also no soap to wash my hands. I told one of the guys working there that the women's restroom was out of soap and he said , oh ok, then proceeded to not get any soap for the bathroom. Overall the whole place was very unsanitary and I'm hoping I don't get ill from eating there.

I ordered two pizzas online and built one in-store tonight, and the difference in quality was frustratingly obvious. The two pizzas I ordered online were very sparse on toppings, making them look incomplete and not worth the price. In stark contrast, the pizza I built in-store was generously topped, well-made, and exactly what I expect for the price.

It’s disappointing to see such inconsistency between online and in-store orders. Customers should be able to rely on receiving the same quality regardless of how they place their order. I hope this feedback helps improve the care and attention given to online orders.

Great staff, great place, great service!! I feel so bad for this store for being smacked in between a Costco and an In n Out. I've been to other Pieology's in the area, but this one makes the pizzas consistently well.
