EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious, and their recipes are not your average egg breakfast. The hash is home made. The grits are yummy. So many items to choose from. Portions are good. My friend and I always share a breakfast because of how much food they serve. Prices won't break your wallet, either!

Ordered the BBQ Dinner: Ribs Hot-link , Greens And biscuit and it was absolute fire! Ribs were tender flavorful as was the Link. My go to every-time I order! Keep up the good work, guys!!

Went to restaurant for Sunday brunch. It was my first time there. I ordered chicken and waffles. My daughter also ordered chicken and waffle . Both orders the chicken was over cooked and tuff. I was given a knife, but could not cut the chicken. I should have said something about the chicken, but decided to take it home and microwave it . The microwave didn’t help. I ended up throwing it out. If I ever go back, I’ll try a different item.

Showed up at 1:30, wasn't busy, but no one up front to seat you, tons of tables dirty with dishes. Worker rolls eyes when trying to ask questions. If they can't run the front of house, I'd fully expect the kitchen to be filthy and probably barely passing health standards. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to eat. The filth of the dining area is only trumped by the rudeness of the staff in an incompetently ran restaurant.

This used to be a good place to come to but not anymore. Good quality has diminished, flies everywhere, and service is horrible. They need to hire more help. I won’t be coming back.

I was very disappointed with my recent visit. From the beginning, we had to flag down the waitress just to place our order. When she finally came over, she was unfriendly, didn’t smile, and didn’t seem welcoming at all.
We were a party of four. One person received their food, and the rest of us waited for about 7 minutes before I had to stop another server to ask about the rest of our meals. Instead of listening, he talked over me and gave an excuse about the kitchen not being big enough. I tried to explain that I’ve dined here before and understood that, but that our previous experiences involved receiving food close together so we could bless our meal as a family. He continued to interrupt me, which was frustrating.
Eventually, he brought the rest of the food, and only then did our original waitress reappear—likely because she could tell I was upset. She later dropped the check on the table and asked about boxes. I politely told her to leave it and give us some space.
This visit left me very disappointed. The service was poor, and the staff did not make us feel welcome or cared for. Unfortunately, I won’t return to this establishment.

If you like soul food, this is the stop. Hands down the best soul food restaurant I've come across in a 100 miles. I had the privilege of dining at Emeril Lagasse's restaurant in New Orleans, and their food is on par with that. Juicy crispy fried chicken, moist delicious corn bread, mmm mmm!! Everything on the menu is delicious 😋.
