I had the stroganoff It was fabulous... but $46 for a small bowl of pasta with a few pieces of filet, is a bit much. Had we not had the crab cakes and split a wedge salad, I would have gone home hungry. We eat there at least twice a month.. Our most favorite spot, but I'd suggest lowing the price on the stroganoff. All in All, everything was great!!
Sheldon Inn never disappoints. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I ordered the prime rib dip with French onion soup. The meat was tender and the soup was tasty. My husband ordered the French toast and fried chicken and my son in law ordered the burger. Both said their meals were tasty. Gio was our server and was super friendly. Shelbie was our busser and she was on top of it with refilling our drinks and taking away empty plates. We definitely recommend eating here for brunch and dinner. It's always consistently delicious.

We went to the upstairs bar. It seemed like it was the same food just a different atmosphere. Everything we bought appetizers salad dessert was all premium didn’t taste anything bad or even close to mediocre. It was excellent!

Second time frequenting the restaurant and it was def not the same experience as the 1st. We were so disappointed. Ordered shrimp fettuccine and the portion size was for a toddler. Someone else ordered the same meal and the portion size was of a normal adult meal. Our server confirmed the portion was skimpy. One of the steaks ordered wasn't cooked as requested and it came out bloody. Several dinners were cold. We were told because we ate upstairs that it takes longer to come up from the kitchen. Over not satisfied and probably will not return for food. Drinks upstairs for sure.
We had ordered 3 Surf and turf specials and salmon dinner all was salty. Ambiance and customer service was great. Food could had been better. Unfortunately I will not be coming back. We were celebrating our friends birthday. So disappointing

We really enjoy the Sheldon Inn, but did not appreciate ending up upstairs without our OK. I reserved a week early and ended up in the "night club" area upstairs. By around 6:30, the singers were performing and made it nearly impossible to have a conversation. The singers were good, but shouldn't have started until later, maybe 8ish. I would suggest an additional choice on Open Table for seating so that those who enjoy the upstairs can be seated there.

I ordered the steak special:truffle crusted filet mignon. It was not cooked as rare as I ordered, and if there was anything resembling a truffle or piece of truffle, I didn't find it. The rest of the food on the plate was good. I expected at least a bit of truffle flavor. Maybe the crust burned the flavor away. The swordfish special would have probably been a better choice.
The Adkins wine was incredible, the service was the best I have experienced in years, and the food was absolutely amazing. One of the best dining experiences you can have. What a place.

As noted above, everything was perfect. Our server was Gino and he was outstanding! Professional, knowledgeable, sense of humor, laid-back, very accommodating, and totally respectful! Julius assisted as well, and was also terrific! Our evening was spectacular, food prepared perfectly, and definitely will recommend the Sheldon Inn restaurant to anyone and everyone ! Ate here for Valentine's Day Day was the worst experience ever. Upon arrival noticed the place had a lot seating was wondering if this place was a good idea. My husband and I eat out every year. This year I decided to go somewhere different and close to the house. So as I stood up front waiting to be seated the girl upfront talked on the phone for at least 5 minutes. Finally another girl took down our reservation and proceeded to take us to our seats. I said are we going outside she said yes we have heaters but mind there were a lot of seating inside. So as we sat outside I noticed puddles of water under each seating considering it was pouring outside. We contacted the waiting staff and asked what was the criteria to get a seating inside. We were told it goes by first come first serve only people with reservations due to it being a holiday. Mind you I made reservations a week before. So we finally make it inside took elevator to second floor. As I thought......empty. I am not trying to pull the race card but this night I felt so type of way. I am African American descent. We try to eat at different restaurants every year this one left me a uneasy feeling. Please fix how you treat your guest because all our money is the same.#profiled#
