Friendly & welcoming and prices that could make this a regular lunch or breakfast everyday for locals and good food to grab a ro-go home. If I lived here this would be a spot to get the news, meet a friend , or just visit with some locals. It has a homey vibe.

This place is great! It has all the classics, well made with fresh ingredients and great service and a few surprise menu items that were delicious. The staff is super friendly and we had a great breakfast here. I highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Queenie's is an experience. We stopped for lunch. The service is not very good. One of the wait staff asked us if we needed more iced tea and something else, only to forget about it until our server showed up. She asked if we wanted more iced tea and got it in a few minutes. My chicken sandwich was too big to eat. The tomato was 1/2 inch thick, onions 1/4 inch, lettuce, pickles, chicken. All in all the sandwich was about 5 inches tall. The server suggested that I smash it down to eat it. She did relent and give me toothpicks so I could keep the sandwich together. It really is a down home food kinda place. Everything is cooked to order. When the steak knife was given to me it was handed to me on the table blade first. What's up with Elk? I doubt we'll come back. We weren't thrilled. The folks are nice. The food is fine, but the weirdness and size of the sandwich was a bit too much.

Queenie's is OPEN on Friday, Saturday nd Sunday from 9am to 3pm. Great food, friendly staff. The burgers are delicious!

We stopped on a rainy day and had scrambled eggs with chorizo and huevos ranchers. Really really good. The staff are friendly and didn't mind us taking our time and drying out. Would definitely recommend
The food was good but it took them such a long time to bring it and even to bring us the check. We felt they served everyone else but us. Maybe because we were not locals.

Had lunch there last week, wanted some where with a patio which they had. Great burger, home made. It was a bit slow to get to us one a half hour but they said everyone seemed to arrive at once. Patio was dog friendly. My wife had a Ruben which she said was very good as well

My husband and I stopped in today for breakfast passing through on our honeymoon and it was EXACTLY what we needed. The staff was so extremely nice and accommodating. The food wasn’t the best we’ve ever had but it didn’t even matter because it was hot, filling and comforting. I highly recommend
