SO GOOD!! Super authentic! I've been a big fan of their main locations, so I was pretty excited to try this smaller, more laid back version of Baby Cafe. The popcorn chicken never misses. From the traditional Taiwanese style breading, to the spices, and even the fried basil, it's super legit. So happy to have authentic popcorn chicken close by. I also ordered an iced lemon tea and it reminded me of the ones I'd order in Hong Kong. Can't wait to come back! The wait can be a little long during the day, due to the fact there is only one person working the booth and he has many orders to make. Food service can be overwhelming at times.

I haven't written a review in years but feel compelled to write this one. Ordered two plates and paid with credit card. I was not given a receipt afterwards and went on my merry way. 5 days later when I looked at the credit card statement, I found out the guy that rang me up had given himself a tip. Make sure you get a receipt from this place

The guy that always works the counter has horrible customer service ! He looks and acts like he doesn’t want to be there or even talk to the customers . Everytime I come it’s always him acting miserable. Customer service is such a big thing ! why have him in the front or have him at all ? I want the service I know I give !

Was craving hainan chicken rice so decided to give this place a try. We arrived at 11:40 on a Saturday and the chicken rice was not yet ready. We were willing to wait the 15 mins for the chicken rice to be done cooking. Alas, although the chicken and the ginger/sauce was delicious, the chicken rice was a wet mess. Perhaps, they were just not on their A game today. Maybe I'll come back to give them a try again another time.

Loved their beef stew rice plate. Best beef stew and authentic to Hong Kong style cafe taste. Favorite drink is their kiwi green tea. Very refreshing and not too sweet. Had popcorn chicken and crab Rangoon. Some of the crab Rangoon was a bit cold inside unfortunately. Otherwise everything was tasty.

Milk tea is excellent. I had the mango milk tea with lychee jelly and it was great. They also have 4 other types of jelly.

What a disappointing meal. I ordered the popcorn chicken with fries and was so disgusted with the food that I had to toss it without eating the popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken was undercooked and the breading on the chicken looked very unappetizing. Will never eat here again.

This place is inside Public Market. The staff were super fast in preparing our drinks. The drinks are tasty and come in a cute plastic cup. I recommend!!

I paid for the chicken rice, and there was mold on the cucumber. To save yourself from the potential danger of food poisoning as a result of eating food from this place, I would highly recommend avoiding this place and the food there.

Boba is always fire here! The quality of the pearls themselves are always perfectly chewy and sweet just how I like them, which to me shows attention to quality and freshness. I've had the mango and the fresh taro and both have been so yummy!

This review shouldn't even get one single star, but I can't post it unless I mark it with a star. Didn't get a chance to try anything from this cafe at all. Service was non-existing. The directory indicated cafe opens at 11 AM. At 11, I was scanning their menu while an employee was behind the counter making a drink - for himself. He kept his back to me and never acknowledged my presence, and then disappeared into the kitchen area. Another employee walked out from the back, avoided my gaze, and retreated to the kitchen. A third employee came sauntering in at 11:15, and when I asked if they were open yet, responded, "No, 11:30". I got my lunch from a much friendlier vendor, and don't ever plan on patronizing baby cafe.

Decent meal for the price if you do the drink upgrade, they give you a huge portion of rice versus the protein.

Hainan chicken is quite tender and well seasoned, very traditional and decent Chinese food. Didn’t expect it to be so good so I didn’t even take a picture of it. The rating for this place is definitely below what it should be.
