Ok place for empanadas, the location is not car friendly, parking is very minimal street parking. Food was good, actually stamped with the flavor. Coffee is nothing fancy

I go in there and the iPad didn’t work for me. I go to order and the young guy says it’s easier for him if I use the iPad but now there are 3 people behind me. Instead of taking my order and checking me out he serves those behind me because they used the iPad. He then doesn’t understand why I thought that was rude of him.
I’ll go elsewhere from now on, never again.

Good food but the use of AI art for advertising is super dishearting. It gives the impression of cheapness or an attempt to mislead customers, and I don't think it represents what you actually get here (Which is better than what I would have thought if I hadnt been here before - the AI breakfast burrito advertisement outsode would have driven me away for good)
It would be great if they could hire a real artist or use a stock image that is not AI.

I recently discovered how much I love Empanadas within the last few years, so I was really stoked when they opened this location. They used to partner with another bakery next-door to the Y in downtown Oakland, so it was really nice to see this spot close by. The chicken empanadas are always my go to, but the Fugazzeta (cheese and onion ) has grown to be my favorite item on the menu! the staff are very friendly and help you figure out what’s for you if you’ve never been or are undecided on what to get. ( and if you have a sweet tooth, they tend to have Alfajores & sweet Empanadas sale as well! )Only downside is that there isn’t much indoor seating which could be a problem if it’s colder out, but this is minor in my opinion. Definitely worth trying if you want some good authentic Argentinian food.

Authentic Argentinian empanadas with good variety of flavors. They're usually freshly baked. Limited indoor seating available but plenty outdoors given close by small park!
Free street parking available. This corner shop is clean with decent bathroom. Mushroom one is my favorite!

The empanadas with the chimichurri is sooo delicious. The beef is even halal!!

The vegan one was really yummy too with the sauce.

All the staff is super friendly there too!

Delicious empanadas + fantastic chimichurri. Highly recommend the iced dirty chai latte and mushroom empanada! Friendly and helpful staff as well.
