The food was horrible. I posted the potatoes country fried potatoes. They literally scraped the bottom of the pan and gave me burnt skin that wasn’t nice. Do I look like I need burnt skin? I’m already black enough. Is that why I got it? I feel offended only black person in there besides two others Outside eating I took mine to go never again. Eat there who was server human being that garbage black potatoes.

First time stopping here since moving to the neighborhood in December, and I wish we had sooner. We stopped in for a post gym brunch, and despite how busy they were, my wife and I were able to sit immediately.

Coffee was hot, fresh, and delicious. I got the chicken chorizo scramble, which I was delighted to find that it was thin sliced links vs ground chorizo. The breakfast potatoes are also great, and their cornbread seems like a hybrid with banana bread.

Wife got the farmers omelet, which was also great, and the holandaise that accompanied it may have been the best I've ever had. Safe to say, we may just be regulars moving forward.

We are here from the Chicagoland area and we are so glad that we found this diamond in the rough! We all got different options and shared amongst our family. The atmosphere is clean and amazing! We all agreed that it was the best breakfast that we have ever had!!! There was not a single thing that was a “miss”.
Absolutely the BEST!

We had brunch outside during the Sunday rush hour and loved the experience! Portions were generous, and the service was wonderfully friendly. I had the Eggs Benedict with crab cakes (about $23)—a delicious treat! The thinly cut potatoes weren’t my favorite, but everything else made up for it. Definitely a pricier brunch, but perfect for a special splurge once in a while.

Came in super hungry for Sunday brunch. The food - Ultimate & California Benedicts was OK, nothing back to report. Service fast and attentive even though it was a rush hour. Great diverse crowd - the locals of Berkeley and Oakland and Emeryville. Will be back

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES!!! I got a turkey club and asked 3 separate times for no avacado/tomato. sandwich arrives and I notice tonato, no biggie, I take them off and eat a quarter before I notice the avacado and absolutely freak out since I have severe allergies to avacado. before someone asks did I say I was allergic keep in mind I clarified THREE TIMES no avacado! I should not have to say I'm allergic to something to not have it on the food I am paying for.
my sister immediately took it away from me and had me drink the 2 glasses of water at the table (there was 3 of us) and asked the waitress to remake it and take it off the bill, I said not to remake it as there was no way I was eating anything anymore while holding onto an Epi-pen and trying not to let my panic attack disturb other patrons.
when the waitress finally refilled the waters she and the manager began blaming the kitchen saying they didn't read the ticket. that's not an acceptable answer when an order is 2/3rds messed up as they had listened to one other request of mine. I don't care who made the mistake and I did not want to listen to excuses.

honestly just entirely poor management of the situation and clearly no food safety training. i have half a mind to return and ask to see their training certificates and allergy handling certification as it is very serious that requests like mine are followed whether or not an allergy is outright stated-getting confirmation 3 times is a flag for the staff there is a possible allergy.

Its our favorite breakfast place. The Huevos Rancheros Azteca is a must have dish, pancakes are great. Eggs Benedict as well. Food quality is excellent. I dont think we've ever had a bad meal there. We mostly go for breakfast but I know they serve lunch as well. The staff is friendly, the owners super nice. Worth it!
