First time visiting from out of town. Very rude service. When receiving our order(dragon rolls) it was falling apart inside of the container provided. Therefore, I asked for them to remake our order. The service member at the register was combative and also placed the blame on my spouse stating that he put the food in the bag upside down, which was not true at all. He did not mishandle the food in anyway. Yet the cashier continued to be nasty. They eventually remade our order and the rolls were perfect! Absolutely, unsure why the services rendered initially was as so. I will never order from here again solely based off of poor service.

We had sashimi and the cherry blossom roll. It was pricy and tasted fresh. I like the environment at the public market. Fun to people watch and grab a drink at the bar.

Every dish is freshly made, tastes excellent, has generous portions, and the kitchen is very clean. Highly recommended!

Love the chicken teriyaki! Have to ask for extra sauce thought because it is dry. I get a look from the person I order from but when I offer to pay for extra sauce she says no. I love the chicken and vegetables with white rice!

naru sushi is located in a food court near peet's coffee it was easy to find. the food prices were pretty decent considering the food i ordered was excellent excellent excellent excellent and the service was excellent excellent. i thought it would be best if i just tried to california roll and based on that ... if the california roll was great i could imagine what everything else would taste like. the person at the counter went out of her way to make sure that i understood everything that i wasn't too sure about...andddd that's what made it great. the experience was great remember it's cool food court court dining and depending on the time of the day it could be really busy on a saturday or weekend or during the week.

Why is this place only 2 1/2 s? I've always said my 5th star are for good Michelin Star restaurants...a Michelin Star doesn't guarantee good food. So my 3 Stars rating actually means...the place is pretty good The service has always been friendly, and food comes out without too much waiting. I've ordered other items before such as their Lion King and Dragon Rolls, and have always found them quite tasty. Yes, they can be a bit pricey, but I think you need to factor in the high rents associated with being in a popular food hall such as this. Case in point, the Chicken Teriyaki Bento I have pictured here. It's a fair amount of food for $17! More importantly, it actually TASTES GOOD! Sadly, there are vendors in here who serve up food for the same prices, but are not tasty. There is a lot of competition here, but this is one of the good ones.

Fast service, good food, but overpriced. Most of the menu is overpriced, but there are options that seem ok and I consider the California roll one of them. For $8.29 (after tax), I got eight pieces of a decent California roll. They were arranged neatly in a box and held together, but I noticed there was double the rice on top than on the bottom. My order was ready in about five minutes. If I visited this place again, I would only consider buying a chicken donburi, chicken teriyaki, chicken curry bowl, California roll, Philly roll, or Spicy Tuna roll, since those six are the only items that seem reasonably priced out of the 65-item menu. Remember that Emeryville has a 10.5% sales tax on top of the menu prices.Vegetarian options: Edamame, rice, tofuKid-friendliness: Children can eat food and food is sold hereParking: Parking lot across from the Public MarketWheelchair accessibility: AccessibleDietary restrictions: Ask employees for more information

Feeling a little indifferent about this place. Wanted something different for a treat this weekend and stopped off at the Public Market My boys agreed upon Sushi this weekWe got teriyaki Bento box and a Lion King roll. The pricing seemed a little high for what we got. And the person taking our order seem a little impatient. The food was tasty but there are other options for good sushi around the bay at a little more affordable pricing

I should’ve checked the review first! Literally the worst staffs and foods ever.

Good place to go if you just want regular sushi. Prices are somewhat steep but still satisfies sushi cravings.
