I re-discovered this place during covid. They've done a great job staying open, safe, staffed, and yummy. Recently, they don't always have everything shown - food and drinks - but it's ok, and sometimes the orders take much longer than stated - but it's ok. Some of the items aren't spicy or traditional Peruvian, but really it's all delicious and the ingredients are fresh and quality. If they have it, my favorites are pisco punch, pork belly sandwich, aji chicken, and also the quinoa salad for something lighter!

Fried Chicken sandwich fab. Huancaina sauce super fab. Empanada even more fab. Sweet potato fries excellent but soggy. Maybe separate box rather than in with the sandwich & cole slaw. Yucca fries very good but $5 for 5 fries seems overpriced. Will definitely return.

How do you celebrate 28 de julio(Peruvian Independence Day) during a pandemic shelter-in-place? You head to your nearest fast casual Peruvian spot especially if your mama isn't home to treat you. My daughter and I decided to honor our Peruvian roots by partaking on a warm summer morning. We showed up shortly after opening. I order Pollo a la Brasa while babygirl ordered an Aji Chicken bowl with bottled Chicha Morada. I was told my chicken order might take longer. We enjoyed classic salsa and reggaeton while we waited 15-20 minutes for our food(what is it with Peruvians and Eddie Santiago's "Lluvia"?). Our number was called and we were were ready to enjoy our steaming boxes of food. My chicken was seasoned well with thick fries. Pollo a la Brasa can be somewhat greasy. My order also came with sides of huancaina sauce and chimichurri. Huancaina happens to be one of my favorite sauces so I'm forever comparing it to my mom's. I prefer more of a rocoto kick but I noticed flavors are slightly toned down here. The chicha morada was sweet but missing the tang of citrus I enjoy. Overall it was a good meal if a little pricey.

If you've been craving some good Peruvian chicken, @paraditaeatery hits the spot! The chicken is fall off the bone tender and super flavorful. We also got one of their empanadas which for me was my favourite out of everything. It had a really flaky exterior and stewed chicken with nutty cheese sauce filling.。。Public Market Emeryville, CA。。 Pollo a la Brasa Lomito al Jugo Aji de Gallina

I've dined in pre-pandemic and now during COVID times. The flavors of the meats are good, but I just think this spot is overpriced for the portion sizes. My first choices on this most recent takeout visit were the Paradita Ribs, the Aji de Gallina, and the Roasted Beet Salad, but unfortunately all were sold out! It was a Wednesday evening. I ended up having to settle for their most expensive bowl: Lomito al Jugo ($15). For that price, the portioning just didn't make a lot of sense to me. Tons of rice, quite a bit of fries, and very little meat. I found the sauce to be really oily too. Ordering was quick and easy, and our food came out in about 15 minutes. They have outdoor seating available during this time. Parking out front for the Public Market is free and convenient.

This spot is really underrated! I love how the public market has a variety of everything, but Paradita hits the spot! The adobo bowl was delicious and the pork was perfectly cooked and tender. The Arroz Chaufa bowl which has Peruvian-style Fried Rice with Pork Belly- super good as well! I give it 5 stars! :)

My husband and I tried Paradita for the first time today as a quick stop to the airport and OMG the food is delicious, we got Lomo Saltado Sandwich and Pan con Chicharron and they were sooo good. As a peruvian is hard to find restaurants that the food is so similar as in Peru and this is one of them. 100% recommended Oh and for dessert you should get the alfajores they are bomb too!

The food is amazing with savory flavor. The service was great and Juan was very courteous and helpful with the menu as I was not familiar with Peruvian food.

It's been a while since my visit (pre-Shelter In Place) and I want to share that the food was great. The Pollo a la Brasa was very tender, very moist. And the Antichurros (pork) was very flavorful. I will also add that the quinoa salad was a flavorful surprise. Thank you to the staff for keeping the flavor!

Delicious and messy, but just hits the spot. I ordered the chicken tender sandwich and my bf ordered the adobo sandwich and we were both really happy with our meals. Have you ever had such flavor in such a cafeteria-styled food place? The food comes out pretty quickly and there's a good amount of options on the menu. They're even operating during SIP and they make sure to disinfect the tables often. I don't know how authentic anything is, but it's great tasting and hits the spot.

I decided to try this place out. I am Peruvian myself and I have tried so many different Peruvian restaurants in the Bay Area and in my opinion honestly this is by far the best i have had in a long time. The flavors are there. Reminds me of authentic Peruvian food. The lomo saltado sandwich was really good and you can tell the bread is fresh. I will be coming back here more often.
