“Oakland Staple, everything is done fairly well, one block away from Pixar studios. This is what the standard should be in my opinion, (yes I said opinion if you know me I work with facts so this is big) why because they deliver exactly what they advertise so you are not misguided or get false hopes followed by disappointment, overall quite happy after eating here. “We had Rompiballe Sandwich and The Milanese Sandwich. Our favorite one was The Milanese Sandwich even if both sandwiches were very tasty. It was very fresh and we liked the harmony of ingredients. Service was fast and we didn’t have a difficulty finding a table. I felt like I was in a nice sandwich shop in Firenze. Thank you!“

“I didn't eat the food because you don't go to this bar to eat. Go for the amazing sports experience, the great service and whatever drink you want. Even when the place gets packed you still feel like you're in the place you want to be and the bottom line is this place is great.“
“The lady running this place is amazing and really sweet! She cooked a delicious Ethiopian dinner for the 8 of us by herself. It took a bit, but it was well worth the wait because every dish was so good and the bread was light, spongy, and plentiful. Please give her your business!“

“Great location and selection of food and the selection is expanding from what I hear! Kid friendly and a great place to have birthday parties, happy hours, or for any reason. Indoor and outdoor seating options (dog friendly outdoors). They also have lots of TVs for MMA, European, Cricket, and all sports fanatics, inclusive of Baseball, Basketball, and Football! VJ’s also has a FULL COCKTAIL BAR! Great beer selection as well! The owner and his staff are all great. Come by and check out VJ’s! It’s next to the UPS Store at Marina Village.“

“Splash at Thrive City – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Would Be 10 Stars If I Could)
We came in right at opening (10:45 AM) before the Santa Cruz Warriors vs. Clippers G League matchup at 1:00 PM, and from the first interaction, everything was dialed in.
The food was absolutely on point. The burger was cooked perfectly, topped with melty cheese and a roasted pepper that added just the right kick. The parmesan fries were crisp, seasoned well, and served hot. Presentation was clean and intentional — every plate looked as good as it tasted.
The drinks matched the quality of the food. The Bloody Mary was bold, balanced, and properly garnished — exactly what you want for brunch. No shortcuts.
Service is where Splash truly stands out. Alonzo took outstanding care of us — attentive without hovering, personable, and fully engaged. Dan, the beverage manager, made sure all our needs were met and that the entire experience exceeded expectations. That level of leadership presence does not go unnoticed.
Tom, I’m sorry I missed you, but your team is absolutely holding it down. The standard of hospitality reflects strong management, and it shows.
This was my wife’s pre-birthday celebration, and the team made it feel special without us even having to ask. Efficient timing, great energy, and the perfect pre-game atmosphere at Thrive City before heading into Chase Center.
Five stars doesn’t feel like enough. If I could give 10, I would.

“Yo, I just went to this place a couple weeks ago and their pizza is on point! We had like a pesto chicken pizza and that shit smacked!! there wasn’t a lot of people so I liked that it was chill. It’s a good place to do karaoke and bring some friends to just eat chill and vibe. Definitely my new favorite pizza spot.“

“This is the kind of place I want to see in any city I live in. Harmonic is hands-down one of the best locally owned microbreweries. The owners are long-time SF residents and amazing humans who truly care about their beer, customers, and community. The brews are delicious, creative, and always changing—there’s never a boring pour here. They have decent snacks and seem to regularly have unique food pop-ups. It’s an accessible place whether you’re out alone, or with friends and family. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!“

“My new favorite dive bar in the city. A great blues band was playing the night we went and the atmosphere was fun and full of happiness. Excellent and creative cocktails (the Bee's Knees and the ginger cocktail are very much recommended). Service was exceptional, we'll be definitely coming back! Love this place, A+++

“My family and I absolutely love this restaurant! We tried a lot of Indian restaurants all over the Bay Area, but this is, by far, our favorite!
The tandoori is ridiculously good and the nan is so fresh and bubbly! I am vegetarian and the rest of my family eats meat so we always get the curries in vegetarian and chicken. We never have anything left over because it is so insanely good. Tonight we dined in the restaurant for the first time instead of ordering out and it was such a treat! The owner was a complete sweetheart and provided us the best customer service that we have had in a long time. It’s always convenient ordering to our home, but we will surely be back for the warm welcome and delicious food! 🙏🏼❤️“

“A football hideaway tucked into the financial district, excellent spot to catch the games, including Redzone on a huge screen, plus wifi and plugs (outlets), cool bartenders (Daniel on Sunday), shuffleboard, full range of beers and spirits, and a private reservable parlor room...hard to go wrong here on a Sunday (& was great and lively for Game 7 of World Series on Saturday night as well, cool and interesting folks).“

“My wife and I visited this spot yesterday to enjoy their Happy Hour. The place is small, but perfect. They have outside seating as well. We sat at the bar. We were immediately greeted warmly.
We ordered the Summer drink and the Peach one (Both found on the menu). We ordered the Original burger with fried egg and avocado. It was delicious. The burger was big, flavorful and everything was cooked how I needed it to be (We shared the burger and small fries. It was enough for 2). We ordered more drinks: Chocolate martini (Not on the menu, but ask for it...so delicious), we had tequila shots and my wife had a Mezcal drink prepared by the bartender (Not on the menu, but it was tasty).
The bartender was funny, accomodating and amazing. So amazing that I did not even know he was the owner!! Lol.. his name is Mike. He such a cool down to earth dude. Like very personable.
I definitely reccomend this spot!“
