“The server was really nice but tables were really sticky, bathroom was dirty and they were sadly out of everything on tap, I had to get a bottled beer, they were also out of the bottled beer I chose, so I had to change that too. Probably won't be going back to Hidden Spot/Hometown Heroes.“

My comments are, gotta have a bigger alcohol selection or at least offer what you have on the menu. For a Friday night I think the lovely lady attending to everyone from check in, bar tending and serving did a great job all be herself! You are lucky to have her. This is coming from a small business owner that knows all the struggles. When my people call out, I am there to cover so Please get her some help ;-)
Another thing to note is the security guard was just wonderful in helping us find a space to park our van and great attitude in keeping it all safe. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure! Thank you for the hospitality and great vibes!“

“Awesome new vendor in the kiosk that used to be Bi-Rite in the Civic Center Plaza (pre-pandemic). I've had 4 things here (napolitano, caprese and veggie sandwiches and beet salad) and they've all been fresh and delicious with a generous serving. The bread they use is soft and yummy, not too "bready" with a good bread:fillings ratio. My main critique is the pricing, which -- while in line with SF prices -- isn't going to be accessible to most of the local residents of the TL/SOMA. The gelato pricing starts at $5.99. With a playground right behind the kiosk, it would be nice if the prices were lower so a family of 4 wouldn't have to pay almost $25 to get ice cream on a nice day.“

“This was a great find as we were looking to eat dinner at The Bird but it was closed.. Turns out they serve the same food one door over after the restaurant closes, but in a bar instead. The place was great, servers were friendly, and there was enough seating. The music was a bit loud for our taste, but bearable for a short while. It was a bar after all. So glad we found this spot.

Parking: Difficult to find parking in Hayes valley at all times, avoid driving if you can“

“We sat at the bar and the waiter was super attentive and kind. We even asked for a custom drink that he tried to make happen, although he didn’t have all the exact ingredients. We had a great experience here. The games and jukebox are a fun add-on.

Great place to watch big games but get there early if you want a spot as it can get crowded. Bar food is good too. The service and security are very attentive. If you have a finished glass, it'll be gone in under 5 minutes. Definitely check this place out.“

“Came here with a friend while working in town. It was so good we went 3 days in a row.

We sat at the bar and Rodger gave us the Royal treatment!

The salmon salad, the salmon BLT, and the pastrami are all fire. And if you're like me and don't drink alcohol, definitely ask for a ginger beer <Yes they're alcohol-free!

Lots of TVs, 24 beer taps (only about 16 in use at my visit), decent back bar selection, and even a good choice of rums. “My new favorite dive bar in the city. A great blues band was playing the night we went and the atmosphere was fun and full of happiness. Excellent and creative cocktails (the Bee's Knees and the ginger cocktail are very much recommended). Service was exceptional, we'll be definitely coming back! Love this place, A+++

“Was here after dinner for pool initially. Went here on Sunday and it was quite empty when we got in. This is the first bar I saw Jack D Honey on tap, and I was thrilled! The drink we got was Irish slammer, and they gave too little of the beer compared to usual. Adding to that, the bar smells like smoke somehow, possibly because the wind brings the smoke smell inside(?).
Other than that, the games were fun! They have pool, darts, and shuffle board. The darts were so much fun!! There were not many people waiting, so I would go back here any day!“
