In late August 2024 the Tipsy Putt reached out to me for professional hiring services which I gladly accepted. I spent ~4 weeks finding candidates for their open positions, and was in constant positive contact with their company. After I sent the invoice for the completed work (22/October) I received no response, and still no response for the several attempts to contact them after until the head of HR let me know it’s “in the hands” of the CEO, who will not return any emails or outreach. I spent over 60 hours finding, vetting, and interviewing candidates for them. If you are a contractor I would STRONGLY suggest getting payment up front. This sort of behaviour is quite the opposite of their branding which is “investing in local community”. The invoice remains unpaid for the work I performed for them. I will update this review if they complete the payment

Fun time, course was very primitive compared to other modern day putt putts. But is that really the point. Great place to have a team event and to have everyone interacting

This is lots of fun especially with friends and family , taco Tuesday was awesome ! parking was hard to find , bring your own change or card for the meter because they don’t always work and none of the fancy stores on the block have change .

So many people on a Wednesday night. The speakers playing music were so loud, I had to shout to talk to the people sitting 5 feet from me. Won't be going back.

Google hours say they close at 1:30am on Fridays but apparently they don’t so they need to update that. Employees expect people to just know the hours and help themselves like we all work there. We got there at 11, there was no one at the front desk because they were too busy shutting down tvs and lights. We go to the bar the bartender ignored us until we finally get his attention after 10-15 minutes (bar was empty with no one waiting). We order our food using a QR code on the table and get a text saying our food is ready but no one comes to serve us. After waiting an additional 15 minutes we leave our table to find an employee, who did not want to be bothered , to ask for a refund. She walks us to the back the kitchen and shows us that the food was just sitting there and asks us “well is this your food?” as if it was our job to go back in the there and get it ourselves. And then she just walks away? We ended up just getting it to go cause she just walked away. The food was great and the chef was very apologetic but service from the other employees was TERRIBLE. I hope my tip was towards the chef and not the servers. I highly recommend you take your money elsewhere. This place is not it!

Wasn't impressed. The place is brand new and the putt course os already showing wear. The food area was a bit dirty. We were there with a work group early in the afternoon on a weekday and it already felt a little cramped and right up against others.
One of the drink shelves had a very sharp corner that stuck right out into the putting hole. The staff were nice enough. Which is the only reason I gave 3 stars.

Kid-friendliness: Not super kid friendly, lots of sharp edges at kid head height and if the place had actually tipsy groups it'd be somewhat inappropriate.

Came with a large group (10 or so) for a friend's birthday. The friend whose birthday we were celebrating accidentally left her wallet at home after switching bags, and was denied entry at the front door because she didn't have ID and had to drive all the way home and back just to get inside.

The website listed the prices of minigolf at $15/round, but we were charged $18.

3 people out of our group reported getting sick afterwards and suspected the food might have been the reason for it. I didn't eat anything myself.

Despite all that, we had a pretty good time. Drinks were delicious, adequately strong for the price, and while it was a bit loud and crowded inside the building the minigolf was still enjoyable. We weren't sure if there were scorecards for the regular course, because we weren't given any at the counter and the only ones we saw floating around were specific to 1-2 putt (the tables). I liked the decor, and there were plenty of places to set drinks down while playing minigolf.

I also really appreciated the restroom facilities. The stalls have full doors, unlike most restrooms in the US, and everything was clean and well stocked.

The bar staff I interacted with while ordering drinks were friendly and knowledgeable, and even the person guarding the door who wouldn't let my friend inside wasn't rude about it.

Overall, it was fine, but I don't really see myself returning.

Kid-friendliness: After 5pm, the place is 21+ only and they'll require ID at the door.

Unfortunately this mini golf would only be entertaining if you were already blacked out or five years old, or both. Drinks were good but from the attached Trophy Room bar as the bar inside tipsy putt only serves beer and pre-mixed cocktails. Could have achieved the same level of fun at home for half the price by drinking a six pack and then rolling the empties into an upturned trash can.

My Fiancee and I go most Wednesdays for Small Batch Trivia. We enjoy it because the drinks are good, the trivia is fun and the atmosphere isn't too loud and distracting. They have events almost every night of the week, which sound fun. The food is good depending on what you get. I recently tried the churro donuts and loved them.

Parking: There is paid meter parking along the streets but behind the building, there is a lower and upper lot. Both are pay to park with the Bay street app.

Super neat spot, really nice environment for a Saturday night out. Mini golf course is super fun and the rest of the groups that night were all very friendly. Staff are all amazing too. I definitely will be back.
