The food touched my soul! I ordered the rib meal special, and the snapper and prawn combo. The fish fry was perfectly seasoned, crispy and hot. Tasted very fresh. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and had a smoked flavor.
For sides, I recommend the red beans and rice, yams, and potato salad.
Must try the refreshing blueberry lemonade.
I will definitely go back and try the others dishes - Sunday's they have oxtails!

Touch of Soul a North Oakland gem. Smothered chicken, steak, oxtails, Gumbo on Fridays only I believe, Turkey Wings is also a specialty item on the menu.
