We dined at trader vic's on Thanksgiving and had a great time. The spread was delicious with seafood options ( clams, crabs etc). The drinks were good too. It was a tad expensive but then it was a Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving day!!

Such a beautiful place!! The drinks were AMAZING! The food was just ok and the service wasn't very friendly. If you serve Asian fusion food you should offer chili sauce or Sriracha NOT Tabasco and make me feel bad for asking for something spicy. To end on a positive note the views were amazing!

Trader Vics was a must go to on our vacation to San Francisco area. We had a reservation made for 6 people and based our entire day on making sure we were there on time. Upon arrival, my friend was honest that not everyone was getting full dinners (mainly me, due to "lazy gut" so small portions only and also some food allergies) Staff made us wait then moved us to a corner. No big deal. Then later another staff member came up and questioned why we chose to sit where we did when we had a reservation. I told them we were told to. It was awkward but i was with five of my favorite friends so had fun regardless. Too many sports on the tvs and too many small children. Bathrooms were clean and drinks were good.

Great bar and restaurant, the environment is also great. It’s older school, but this is Trader Vic’s. You want some of the feelings of the OG bars from the 40s-60s. I always enjoy going here especially at sunset. I order off menu drinks, such as a navy grog, and they’re good. Staff is friendly, and the crowd can be fun.
It’s a nice place to sit and relax at.

I was fortunate to be included at a retirement last week October 24, 2024 in the Captain's Room. The celebration was in honor of my amazing colleague and friend, Matthew Golde! Over the course of the evening, I met the bartender, Mika who was assigned to our event. He was delightful and talented and I was honored to research the meaning of his name... "Gift from God..." and he is!!!

Our favorite stop while exploring Tiki spots. The staff was so incredibly kind; we came straight from the airport with our luggage and they kindly stored it in a locked, employee-only room while we enjoyed our lunch and drinks. We ordered the veggie spring rolls and fried cheese appetizers, both were so delicious we’d come back just for the food! Drinks were also delicious, we ordered the KoKo Mingo, Sea Dreams, E’ville Awa and Bumbu Hunter. The KoKo Mingo was so creamy and delicious, it is one of our favorites. The Sea Dreams and E’vile drinks were fruity, light and refreshing and great options for a gentler tiki pallet. They have a great selection of mugs and merch, we opted to buy a smaller mug to make it home in our suitcase, and plan on making a large purchase to be shipped home. If you have the chance to visit, we highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: While there isn’t a ton of options, those that are available are tasty and made with care. Our waiter was very helpful in navigating the menu with vegetarian needs.

Really amazing experience every time (this is my 3rd time here). A charming spot for date night, wonderful atmosphere. The staff is so friendly, and they always get me to me smile or laugh. The food is superb!! I enjoy every dish I get. Today, I ordered the Halo'o Stir Fry. It was delicious!!! My drink tonight was the Polū Puffer; amazing!!! Definitely will be coming back and recommending it to all my friends!! ♡
