Good selection of beer. Good quality of beer. Atmosphere seems pretty chill. All around good. Would be 5 but prices are a bit high. Could fly if there wasn't so many other great breweries around, but think I'll head down the street next time
This place rules. Brewing some of the best beers in the Bay Area.
Cannot believe this brewery is in little old Emeryville
Amazing beer. Amazing people. Great atmosphere!
Full disclosure: I'm more of a wine drinker than a beer one. Physically I think this place is a beautiful place to hang out. It's kind of a modern industrial take on a biergarten with high ceilings and lots of wood and stainless steel. I've never seen it anything but spotlessly clean. When the weather is warm I definitely prefer hanging out on the patio area in front. They don't serve food themselves, but they sometimes have a food truck and are totally fine with you bringing in outside food. There are a handful of great food choices within walking distance. They're known for their IPAs which aren't usually my jam, but there are always other interesting options to try. For example I had their new "Dark Headed" Imperial Stout on my last visit and really enjoyed it. (It was almost like a dessert wine, but beer if that makes any sense?) They also have taster pours so you can sample one or build a custom flight. It does get a little busy on Friday around happy hour and on weekends. But the service has always been friendly and knowledgeable. I've never had to wait long for drink either. It's obvious they take pride in the product and what they do. They go above and beyond and I am happy to applaud them for it.
On the newer side of breweries in the Berkeley area (for me at least) Tried a little something of every beer style so I can cosign em. Their triple westie won a blind taste test over pliny the younger at city beer store for all you people stuck in the past. Newer breweries make hella noise, too!
Great beer, but $9 for a pint of pils is rough. Getting close to $10 for IPA's.
Great brewery - some excellent European style lagers.
Dropped in after a run & tried the emery beer which really hit the spot. I'll be back to try out the rest of the options.

Very nice location and very good beer
Great array of different styles of well made beer. Their Oktoberfest is a seasonal favorite along with some high caliber barley wines. If you haven't tried barley wines you are in for a big treat!!!
Wonderful experience would recommend to everyone! Justin was so helpful and greeting us!
Customer service is poor. Beers are disappointing and disgusting seltzer. One of the server is rude. Will not step foot here ever again. Not the best service and will not recommend.
My partner and I have been frequenting Wondrous since just a few months after their opening. As a huge craft beer fan, I'm comfortable saying Wondrous ranks among the best breweries in the Bay Area, if not the state of California at large. Their commitment to quality is unwavering. Each release runs the gamut of styles, from crisp, full-bodied lagers, to intensely aromatic IPAs, to complex barrel aged barleywines. On top of that, their staff is friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Wondrous should top the list of any beer fan visiting the Bay.
