Every dish felt both thoughtful and indulgent — the kind of food that looks beautiful but also delivers on flavor.

We ordered the çılbır (Turkish eggs) and added the hanger steak, and honestly, it was perfection. The steak was grilled beautifully — juicy, tender, and right at medium rare — and it paired seamlessly with the soft-poached eggs. The herbed yogurt added this cool, tangy balance to the rich chili-garlic butter, and the torn herbs gave everything a bright, fresh lift. Every bite had that ideal mix of creamy, spicy, and savory. The toast was golden and crunchy, perfect for chasing down every bit of sauce.

Then came the torrija (Spanish-style French toast), and wow. It’s rich without being heavy — a thick-cut sourdough soaked in yuzu cheesecake custard, topped with pecans, pear, and candied ginger. The textures were layered beautifully: crisp edges, custardy center, bright citrus notes cutting through the sweetness. It’s one of those dishes that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate what’s happening.

Manna feels like the kind of place where brunch becomes an experience — cozy, elevated, and genuinely creative. Every plate feels crafted with care, and it shows.

If you love brunch done thoughtfully, this is it.

TLDR : Overhyped, over priced and low quality customer service.

I was very excited to eat here but was quickly disappointed. Since this establishment has few seats, I expected quality service and food. The moment we sat, I felt like we were a bother to the server. The server didn’t have much enthusiasm for us nor explaining the food. At such a high price, I expected top-notch service.

The food itself did not wow my pallet, especially for the prices. I ordered the pork short rib, which came out with literally four pieces of pork and four lettuce wraps for the price of $38. For This price I expected a complex flavor profile, but was disappointed on how monotone the dish was, it fell flat. I was accompanied by my two friends one that ordered the Manna bowl which for $22 was a huge bowl of salad with a little bit of farro, quinoa and for an extra charge, you can add meat or smoked salmon. The salad was delicious, but with no protein included, the price was ridiculous.

I suggest this restaurant adds reasonably priced sides like a potato hash or some type of seasonal veggie to compensate for such small portions they serve for their prices.

The decor was beautiful, but the spacing of the seats in the restaurant was tight and not to mention many flies flocking to our food.

I think everything would’ve been a little better if our server was kinder and a little more attentive. In the industry, it’s always 51% service and 49% food. Keep that in mind. Please retrain your staff. The best service I got was from the host who dropped off our bread pudding and explained the dish in detail (which was delicious) and told us to please enjoy. I appreciated him out of everybody.

I also ordered a vitality drink, which I did not expect to come in a 4 ounce glass for $11. Please make these portions larger at least an 8oz would do and do not tax us for healthy non-alcoholic beverages.

Overall, I don’t believe I will come here again, and I don’t believe they deserve a Bib Gourmand, Michelin recommended maybe but there’s a lot of work to be done here.

Incredible food and drinks, and great ambiance!

The Turkish eggs were my favorite, but the French toast was great too!

One of my favorite spots in the San Diego area!

Food is just OK. Drinks are terrible — nobody could finish theirs except the cold brew, which is basic at best.

And just like many other bad reviews said, you will be rushed out even if you haven’t finished your food. They didn’t even bother to be polite — instead of asking, they dropped the bill, started clearing the table, took away plates with food still on it, and told us to leave. My friends had warned me this place always rushes customers to order and finish, but this time it was ridiculous.

We were nice enough not to make a scene on-site, but this was downright rude and unacceptable. If the restaurant is that obsessed with turnover, then be transparent and put a clear time limit on the door or menu.

Otherwise, kicking out a party of five after only 1.5 hours from the moment we walked in is absurd — no decent restaurant does that.

Considering the high prices here — plus a 3% “service fee” on top of tips — this is not a fast food joint or a mom-and-pop shop. I believe the restaurant wants to offer a good customer experience, so it’s worth seriously reconsidering this rushing issue that so many diners have complained about.

Definitely would not recommend unless you’re planning to sit down, order immediately, eat as fast as you can, and then leave right away, this place clearly isn’t meant for you.

Stylish, instagrammeable, but underwhelming for the price and mediocre service. Maybe ok for a one time experience but there's definitely much better options in the area.

Manna is incredible. Setting, service, food, don’t miss it. Everything is intentionally thought out from the napkins to the glasses, artwork and custom built tables. The food is beautifully plated and absolutely delicious.

Truly phenomenal. Each dish was a piece of art. Every single flavoring component was so balanced and delicious. I cannot wait to come back. The non-alcoholic tonics had better flavor than some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had.

This restaurant is very instagrammable but my experience was mediocre. The fly situation is out of control. There were 4, 5 flies constantly landing on my food throughout the meal and staff didn’t really acknowledge it. The food was okay but nothing remarkable especially given the price point. (The food shown on the picture was $39). The menu is quite short, for majority of the dishes there seem to be limited “cooking” involved but more “plating”.
