For only being open in the morning, it was a strange experience. Stopped in early in morning and while I understand that opening before dawn on a Sunday morning really sucks for the barista, the girl really made us feel like her enemy and just our presence was offensive. We even tried to be extra friendly (but not over the top) but there was no cracking the scoul on the barista's face. Besides that, the pour over coffee was pretty good.:)

Bump has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots in North County. The staff is always so friendly and the service is always fast. I love their pour over and empanadas. Be sure to go early if you want a particular empanada flavor as they tend to run out quickly!

Bump is my go to place! It seriously never misses. It's the only spot where I can walk in feel like family and leave feeling blessed. Let me give you some advice on the empanadas they got a beef one they stash away. The owners won't put it on the menu because it's not "breakfast". It's the best one and I need your help to get them to put it on the menu. My girlfriend and I normally get bacon and egg and a ham and cheese.

I don't drink coffee so can't comment on that. I came for empanadas based on all the strong reviews, but was disappointed. Empanadas are bland and chewy, instead of tasty and flaky. Parking is a huge pain. Staff is friendly and efficient, and decor is nice.
When you want a lil "bump" or a large "bump" this place has your fix! Limited menu so either cold brew or pour over.. but tasty. Also best part was they didn't even give you the option to tip the 20% on that screen.. so that was a nice surprise!

Wow! I like my coffee-good, strong, black so I can taste the flavor profile. At $4.50/$5.50 for cold brew ...just wow! Smooth, delicious, strong, quality coffee! And the guy Ryan at the counter was genuinely kind and chill at 7a! I went to use a BOGO coupon for running The Kook Race (other order was their Drip Coffee Todos Santos/House Blend-excited to try once it cools down a smidge) Will definitely be visiting again for that coffee and the service was a nice bonus!
