Amazing pizza. Lovely staff. Bustling at night. Never disappoints. Great casual pizza place.
We arrived a little early although we were greeted and seated very quickly. The Super Tuscan wine and bread kept us satisfied until our guests were able to join us. Very good Pasta dishes and deserts. Reception and service exceptional. Good vibe here.
I had such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was super friendly and really welcoming.
Exceptional gluten free pizza. They even had GF focaccia! The GF crust is made on-site. Felt like an authentic Italian restaurant. Well done.
They have the best Italian food in North County. Their pizza is the best. We love the artichokes, an appetizer that is just like the way they are served in Italy. We are Italian and go to Italy often so we know good Italian food.
When you ask your server whether your pizza is GF you know it's THE BEST GF PIZZA in town!
Food was just okey the service was far from impressive. The staff seemed uninterested and gave off a bad attitude, which made the entire experience feel uncomfortable. Overall, it didn’t meet expectations, and I doubt I’ll be returning anytime soon.

We had take away. Gluten free pizza crust was good. Sauce was typical So-Cal bland. Spinach salad with balsamic salad dressing had an alarming amount of rosemary. My sautéd spinach had a hard piece of foreign matter in it, which hurt my tooth and ruined my meal. I shared a photo of the object with the manager and he stated that he only needed to reimburse me for the spinach as that was the only part of my food impacted. Clearly he is fine with foreign matter in his pricy food. Not a restaurant that I will return to.
Vegetarian options: Gluten free options.

Lucky to get reservations on the same day - even if it was after 7. You’ll definitely be waiting almost an hour if you just show up without a reservation.. After arriving two hours earlier hoping to get a table we were seated after nearly an hour …
They give you complimentary focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic rather quickly - the bread was pretty good . We ordered two pastas one marinara and one cacio de Pepe.l and a caprese antipasto.. the caprese came out first and we really enjoyed that . Then the pastas - the marinara one was good , the caccio was missing something , just didn’t hit the mark for me . Service was great and there were a lot of people. Anyway glad we tried it. One and done ✅

We came here for lunch. Ordered a chicken pasta, seafood pasta and 2 pizzas and a calamari appetizer . Food looked good but taste wise was ok. We liked their calamari appetizer though.

Ordered the Buona Forchetta pasta to go with buratta. Received barely any sauce that didn’t cover the pasta, and a cold hard ball of mozzarella- not buratta. I live down the street and usually love eating here, but lately food has been not worth the money.

GLUTEN FREE PIZZA ISSUE (non gf crust is great)! My wife and I absolutely love Buona Forchetta! However... It's a three star review because of their gluten free pizza. My wife, who has celiac, claims this is the best gf in all of SD. But for the last four months we have had to order take out because they for some reason have been cooking their gf crust for 5-10 minutes less than it should be. So when we get home, it MUST be cooked in the oven for 5-10 minutes more (and no, it isn't an issue of the pizza cooling down... She actually enjoys cold pizza but the consistency is awful as it is not fully cooked through). Buona Forchetta management, please fix this issue!

Server took our order and never checked-in again. No chance to order another water or wine or to say that the pasta was mushy.

Had dinner last nite with my wife and another couple. It was our first visit. Our fiendshave been there many times.
The place was packed and after tasting the pasta, I know why. It was fantastic. Everything tasted great. We each ordered something different and all raved.
The only reason I didn't rate this 5 stars was the noise level. It was difficult to have a conversation. Other than that, excellent
They made a really yummy gluten free pizza which can be hard to find! The chocolate mouse was very nice as well
