Best spicy chicken sandwich I’ve ever had!
Would give 9.5 stars if 10 was an option, and even a 10 if fried food had the Michelin advantage. 5 stars is simply not enough. If you’re craving the crunchy type of crispiness, they’ll have you stimming without the taste of char or yesterday’s oil. Drinks strong enough to have me accidentally initiate conversation with the only other table for the night. I've been a Hawk fan for over 40 years. I was in town for work and had to come check it out. Let me tell ya. All the servers are amazing. Mazzy and Madi are superstars! The tall guys were cool too. The food, I got the 900 sandwich and it was fire on more than one level. Flavor 900, crunch 900, quality 900. The French Onion dip and house made potato chips! OMG!!!! THE BEST. Chick & Hawk is a restaurant owned by a well known skater, and the vibes speak volumes. The atmosphere is sick, with TVs playing every Tony Hawk cameo in existence along with skate videos and other bits of nostalgia. The food is sublime, from the sandos to the house beer done by Viewpoint Brewing Co. The 900 sandwich is fire on more than one level, with flavor, crunch, and quality all at 900. The fried chicken with spicy fries is devoured, and the French Onion dip and house made potato chips are the best. The wings, three times the size of store brand wings, are unreal. The fish sandwich is the best ever had, and the fries are delicious. The Brooklyn Banks is worth coming back for, and the cocktail is the best. The drinks are strong. The service is amazing, with all servers happy to be there, attentive and super kind. The staff are superstars, and the server was a peach. The place is fun, and the fam had a great lunch.
