Drinks are amazing! Good food not super traditional Mexican food but we enjoyed it. Definitely order the guacamole which is made to order table side. They have Happy Hour as well. Great Service!

$5 Happy Hour Margaritas are well made from scratch. I tried the cucumber margarita. Dinner food prices are still pretty high for me. Still not too busy.

Delicious brunch at Cocina de Barrio! We are big fans of the chain and this was our first time at this location and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Tia Chata drink which has a coconut popsicle that was a lot of fun as well as a blonde ale. For entrees we had the salmon hash and sopes benny. We sat on the dog friendly patio. The service was very friendly and quick, water always getting refilled. The restrooms have changing tables. Recommend, everything on the menu tastes amazing.

Great service, but food portions seemed tiny and over-the-top spicy. Cocktails were very unique; dessert was average. Sadly, we sat next to a noisy TV that no one seemed to be watching -- shame.

Went there with 4 other friends tonite...drank and ate off the Happy Hour Menu...$5 Matgaritas were excellent...everything we ordered was excellent with beautiful presentation including the drinks...staff very friendly and knowledgeable about what we were ordering..ambiance and music very simpatico...we will be going back...buen provech

We began with a generous and wonderful ceviche, then absolutely delicious plant-based choices: the Flor de Calabaza and the Tetelas. Really tasty sauces and satisfying dishes. With just these three, we were too stuffed for dessert! Although there's plenty for meat lovers, I would especially recommend this to any vegan, since gourmet Mexican vegan isn't the easiest to come by.

Our first visit celebrating our anniversary with family. We all agree that the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We started with some antojitos to share and some tasty and beautifully garnished cocktails. We all ordered different entrees and eagerly shared bites enabling everyone to sample each dish. Excellent meal. We will be back. Soon.

We ate outside so noise wasn't an issue but inside the space was buzzing. Wow what a great addition to Encinitas. Food was amazing with such beautiful presentation. If you're a tequila drinker the bar will not disappoint. The menu is so thoughtfully put together with special consideration with plant based options. The service was incredibly attentive. We can't wait to go back.

We started with the guacamole made at our table. It was delicious and I highly recommend it. Also, the salsa is the best I've ever had and ordered some to go. I had the Birria tacos and loved it and the presentation. It was my friend's birthday and they gave her a beautiful desert that we were all too full to eat. Overall great place for authentic Mexican food.
