WAY overpriced tacos for what you get. Service was very slow. If you sit outside be prepared for the ladies who don't pay attention to their dogs while they're bugging and begging other tables for food. Margarita was ok. Best thing we ordered was the tuna crudo. Don't waste your money on the beans and rice. It's like 13 cents worth of food.
I see a wide range of reviews from this location, so it seems that quality of experience may vary according to who is the cook, and how busy the place may be.
My brother, who has a many years positive relationship with Death By Tequila brought me here several times.
We are not professional drinkers, we simply enjoy well crafted and authentic ( we know that most spirits in the United States are just neutral grain spirit and water with a dash of dye, sugar and lastly some whiskey or tequila added ) spirits of any sort on occasion.
As someone passionate about AUTHENTIC mezcal, I was pleasantly surprised with the bartender’s interest and knowledge on this subject.
We asked him to expose us to his favorites, and he selected an excellent diversity of Mezcals we had never tasted before.
Fish tacos were great, the special was excellent ( basically a blue corn Gordita with lobster).
We arrived at just past 2 pm on Saturday and on Sunday, and both times we’ve had a table with staff attentive and moderately busy.
Desserts were great, just enormously over sweetened.
Vegetarian options: vegetarians certainly have a few choices
Parking: on weekdays we have always found a parking place. weekends are a challenge

Best Margarita’s! Gage the bar tender that waited on my mom & I was very nice, attentive, & very knowledgable about tequila. It was nice to learn from him & we will definitely be back for another happy hour soon!

Food was excellent. We sat outside, but we were virtually forgotten by our server. Our meal arrived before my margarita, and I had to ask the food runner to get my margarita. When I told our server I was almost done with my margarita, it took him 10 minutes to return and he argued with me that he set his timer for four minutes. I guess in his mind, the customer ISN'T always right. I'll give them one more chance, but only because the food and drink were great.
I went on a double date with friends. It was our first time here and it didn't disappoint! The drinks were great and unique. The food and portions on the protein in the taco were great!

Good selection of traditionally made additive free tequilas
We ordered The set of four salsas and all were delicious! I also enjoyed the poblano empanadas and the skinny margaritas. The only disappointing dish was the Mexican corn which really tasted like it came out of a can, and not fresh even though it is now in season. I would definitely not order that dish again- Poor value for the price!
The food in the past was very good, unfortunately the quality has fallen and it's not the same unique, high quality, food that it once provided. It's pretty standard, nothing stands out.
I love this restaurant and the food. But I made reservations for Monday and when I showed up the restaurant was closed. So this star is really reflecting that they should update OpenTable and only allow you to make reservations on days that they're open.

Had an amazing happy hour here this weekend. The food, service and cocktails were awesome. We tried the pineapple habanero salsa and some of the happy hour taco selections including the mushroom tacos and everything was really tasty. We tried a few of the margaritas and some mezcal selections and we were impressed. We will be coming back for sure!

This is a bustling, tourist-heavy location, but the food is fantastic. Highlights of our meal were the tacos and the habanero-pineapple salsa. Margaritas were fantastic, creative and fresh. The quesadillas were disappointing and rather bland. The ambiance is skewed more toward groups. It's too loud and crowded for a date, because it's simply too hard to hear and a bit chaotic. Service was quite good. Reservations are a good idea, especially on weekends.

zero stars; DIRTY stinky food sitting around everywhere and horrible service. Bartender (looks like blonde Harry Potter) is SO inexperienced and messy; work station dirty and was only helping young girls & ignoring everyone else. Do not go.

The restaurant was closed and I never got notification that they closed early. It was Cinco de Mayo and hard to get a table at other filled up places. An email letting me know would have been appreciated. I have eaten there before and it was excellent food and service however.
Was looking forward to coming here for a long time. The food was mediocre the sweet potato side was very good. One thing that horrified me was when I went into the bathroom it looked like someone had vomited all over the floor. Turns out the restaurant didn't bother to paint the floor and the black paint is peeling all over around the toilet and it looks like somebody lost it all over the bathroom. Very bad for a restaurant to leave the bathroom and that kind of condition. Makes it look like they really don't care
