We were shopping in Encinitas on a Friday night when I spotted the front signage for Forchettaboutit Pizza. We decided to stop in for a couple slices. The joint was jumping on this Friday night and we had to wait a few minutes for an inside table. They do have outdoor patio heaters but it was still too windy to dine outside. We chose the white pizza with chicken and caramelized onions and their meat lovers pizza, and the Caesar salad with chicken. Everything was delicious. The salad was one of the best I've had. The meat was warm, so it was cooked to order and not refrigerated. It was juicy and had great flavor. The chef knows his chicken. The pizza was great if you don't mind a softer crust. It had a wonderful bite and really good char on the underside. Seasoning was great and the toppings looked fresh and really generous. Our waitress gave us a small ramekin of their marinara and it was sooo good. I will definitely try their pasta next time I'm in Encinitas.Service was excellent. All the waitresses had high energy, were fun, and very attentive. The only draw back was soda was from a can so no free refills.

Not a fan! The server was cool and did a good job, the food was mediocre at best and they don't serve coffee! I do not feel the need to return ?

Really good pizza. Dave portnoy would score this in the high 8s. Perfectly cooked, light, no flop and not greasy. The service was good too. But the garlic bread, my kid makes better garlic bread at home.

Did not eat there, but this is more fast casual than the other restaurants. Staff was helpful, and the pizza was killer.

Everything was insanely good. Service was perfect. Casual place with really good food. All of the bread and pizza items were light and airy and didn't make you insanely full. All pastas were perfectly Al dente. The Ravioli and the Pesto Gnocchi and the Carbonara were all off the charts!! It's a place that you want to scream to all your friends that is amazing, but in the other hand you don't want anyone to know about it so you can have it all to yourself. Amazing!!!

We were intrigued by the name and hoped it would be as good as Buona Forchetta in Leucadia on the 101. We ordered pizza and whereas the dough tasted very similar (probably same dough but not long enough in the oven!) everything else tasted below average. The tomato pizza sauce tasted like meat Bolognese pasta sauce. The cheese is also below average, not white high grade mozzarella but instead cheap yellow one. Overall very disappointed and we will continue driving much further to the real pizzeria. Before we ordered, we asked if the pizzas were comparable and we were told they are similar. In our opinion they were clearly not and we will not be returning.Vegetarian options: Pizza Sauce had an after taste of Bolognese meat sauce!
