I felt like I was cheating on Elizabeth from Karina's by giving Jorge's a try as the new tenant of the long time Karina's location, but I have to stay... I've been 5x now and they did not disappoint! Highlights: - This is the ONLY Mexicatessen in the area I've found that will do enchiladas with a verde sauce. I am a California burrito connoisseur. Karina's previously held the title for best Cali in San Diego. Non debatable. RIP Karinas Jorge's Cali is my now go to. Make sure to sub potatoes for regular fries. Good ratio of carne / sour cream / fries. Quality tortillas. All around goodness. Do wish the hot sauce was a little hotter. New Cali Rankings: 1. Jorges 2. Los Primos 3. Rico's (very different than most Mexican but the sauce is unreal)
