Food took an excruciating long time to come out. We ordered 12 total Nigerian pieces, two rolls, and three beers that cost us $200. It is not worth the price for the food you get. The food was good, but not that good

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I worked in the restaurant business for 9 years and to have been treated with ZERO respect or acknowledgment on a tack-out order is BEYOND ME. This was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. AND, the food was ruined!

Small sushi place. I wanted very badly to like this place, but the sushi is just not all that impressive. They try and they care about their food, but the quality of fish just ain't there, and the price is up there with michelin sushi. Also, the Ramen is more like a massive bowl of miso soup with low quality pork.

Came here for a friend's birthday dinner and left very disappointed with the experience.

Full disclosure: the food is actually not bad here. If you like creative making rolls, they have some interesting and tasty ones here.

However, where the experience fell apart was service. When we first sat down, we placed an order of edamame and gyoza - things that we thought were easy and straight forward. It literally took over an hour to get those items, after flagging down a server multiple times. After the second time, it became clear our server was avoiding us, so we needed to flag down a different server to request to order our main courses. Had it not been a friend's birthday, my partner and I would have left after waiting for the first hour. However, since it was a dinner for a friend we did not want to walk out and ended up taking over 3 hours to receive all of our food.

There was no apology or as acknowledgement for our slow service. We did not want to ruin the evening for our friend, so we did not complain or ask to speak to management. However, after almost 4 hours all four of us left hungry and ended up getting in n out on the way home.

Plywood walls make it very loud. A few people talking echoes off the walls and creates a lot of noise.
I know the place is small, but maybe different type of wall insulation to dampen the echoing.
Albacore sashimi was not exactly the best.
AND It was more like seared albacore.?
Definitely not the albacore sashimi I'm used to.
But
Hamachi yellow tail was good.
Seaweed salad was ok but a little bit deceiving with a bunch of lettuce underneath the actual seaweed.
I want seaweed - Not lettuce.
Perhaps cabbage or something would have worked better with the seaweed but lettuce doesn't work.
The moment I walked in, I wasn't sure where to sit down. We were never told where to sit down we just assumed and made the correct decision I guess.

This was an odd experience
We were a party of 5 ... from the time we sat down, we were persistently approached by the wait staff to order... we had already ordered drinks and appetizers and were waiting on the remainder of our party-trying to enjoy the drinks and appetizers.
The wait staff literally approached every few minutes asking if we wanted to order more... hovering while we're still trying to enjoy what had arrived. This continued throughout the meal... we were barely there an hour and there was no waiting line.
The worst part was the server waiting for me to close out the bill while I was in mid-conversation with my party.
It was a big bill... over $400... I still left a 15% tip... bc the sushi was good and the sushi chefs did a great job. Management, please observe your wait staff more closely.

We’ve been here multiple times over the past 4 years and it’s always a fabulous experience.
I am symptomatic celiac and never get sick. The menu is labeled and they take care w cross contact precautions and will change the cutting board and use a clean knife.

I get the edamame and they do a special spicy tuna roll for me to keep me safe.

Totally recommend!

Fun sushi restaurant. We had three rolls that were delicious and had great flavor profile. We went on a weekday and it was a little slow, the staff kept up the energy while starting the closing process which we appreciated. Would highly recommend.

Worse place for sushi! ? Sushi was falling apart and bland, service was horrible and slow, we got sick after leaving. Wine was horrible & sour, had to ask for a new soda because something was inside the can. Never going back! ?

We waited 20 minutes for a table and once seated we were told that food would take another hour. This was on a Sunday night. The rolls were very average but definitely more expensive than other similar places. Trying to think of positive things but nothing comes to mind. And they add an automatic 3% service charge to your bill.
