i ordered a simple street taco on the phone, wait 10 minutes- i arrive and pay 5.38 for a 2.00 street taco, cashier could never say thank you-very machismo stature with me (cannot believe it)- then i receive the order to find out it’s a hard taco- then he takes it takes the taco back and generates an order for two street tacos, this time again more machismo vibe/cannot believe this counter racism for paying customers- overall the taco was average but the hassle and machismo (f—you —vibe) does not work for me/i’ll never return to this establishment due to blatant disrespect

Chicken, bean and cheese burrito. A watery distasteful waste of money. One of the worst chicken burritos I’ve had of the last fifty. Basically tasted like boiled chicken with a few unsavory spices thrown in. Yuk! You want a real, terrific chicken burrito? Head north to San Clemente and El Maguey’s. Get the chicken, cheese and bean burrito. Wow, what flavor! Worth the drive !

I hate giving bad reviews on family owned places after only one experience, but this place was on the bad side of mediocre. The pastor burrito was ok, the green sauce was bland, and the California burrito was nearly all fries and wrap and virtually no meat. Blah.

I used to love this place 5 years ago. The food quality has gone downhill quite a bit. The prices have gone up quite a bit. I ordered a shredded beef taco and it was like chewing on hay. Just all tough and stringy. The flavor was not the same at all. The cheese and the enchilada was not melted. It was just a hard slice of cheese wrapped in a saucy tortilla. I gave it three stars for how good it used to be but my last visit was one star for sure. It's really a shame. It was a great spot.

The food is delicious. Extremely reasonable considering prices everywhere else. Our meals were hot, arrived quickly, were almost overly generous, well spiced, with extra sauces on the side. We enjoyed 4 different meals over 2 days. Had to go back because the first time was so good. One day lunch the next breakfast. The second time did not disappoint. We stuffed ourselves and still had leftovers. There is parking, rare in beach cities, inside and outside seating.
Ordered the Chorizo Burrito . The chorizo didn't taste like chorizo or had the texture. Wasn't very good. The place is very nice and clean. And looks like they do have good food but they don't use very good chorizo. A chorizo Burrito is so easy to make the only way to go wrong is use very cheap chorizo. I don't know why they would use cheap chorizo when it's not expensive to buy a good quality chorizo. I definitely want to try other itmes next time I'm near

The also have potato tacos, mushroom tacos, tacos de nopal (cactus) and mixed veggies tacos.
