Just had an amazing dinner. We ordered Navratan Korma, hummus & naan, 2 chai teas, and two deserts. All of it was so full of flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were perfect.
The servers were very helpful with their dessert recommendation. The Ras Malai was better than I expected. Smooth milk cakes in sweet cream with coconut shavings. That was a great finish to a great dinner.
I will definitely be returning soon.

As a proud Mexican who loves food and has a deep respect for Indian cuisine, I can honestly say Tandoori Palace is hands down the best Indian food in San Diego. My go-to order Chicken Saag, Chicken Kourma, Garlic Chili Cheese Naan, and of course, extra mint sauce on the side. I get it every single time because it never misses.

What truly sets this place apart isn’t just the food (which is amazing every time)but the heart behind it Ranjit Singh. From the very first time I walked in, he welcomed me with genuine warmth and hospitality. Over time, he’s become more than just the owner of my favorite Indian restaurant he’s become a friend. One of the most humble and selfless people I know, whom I respect deeply.

Tandoori Palace isn’t just about the flavors it’s about the people. The vibe, the care, the culture it’s all there.

Our waitress Karan was very sweet and efficient. She greeted us promptly and walked us through the menu. Very good service from her with exceptional food!!! I will be back 😊

Such a nasty food, actually, we came for vacation in legoland and we ordered food today where menu shows something else but we got useless food from them.

We also called, they were offering gift card instead returning the money back.

I’m INDIAN and I never 👎 suggest this nasty place with nasty food.

Came to pickup a DoorDash order with my (Mexican) boyfriend and the worker there (bigger frame, mustache, older) treated him with extreme racism.
He was *shocked* to find out I was with my bf (I’m white), and kept asking me repeatedly if I was there to pick up a different order or if I was dining there, despite the fact that we walked in together and were touching.
The other dashers were offered a glass of water, we were completely ignored.
When the food was ready, we were the only ones asked to provide proof on his phone that this was the order we were assigned and he asked us to confirm in front of him before he would give us the order, then talked over us loudly and dismissed us. The other dashes were simply just given their orders.
Honestly shocked and confused by the treatment we received there. Think twice before giving this restaurant your money.

This restaurant is incredibly understaffed, only three people working on a Saturday night - including a literal child. I've seen children as young as maybe four working here - they don't follow local labor laws and need to be shut down IMMEDIATELY.

Favorite place on earth! The best Indian food in the area, we love the chicken tikka masala’s and Navratan korma. So so so delicious
