Best Italia deli in both county san Diego ! Fresh pasta, home made eggplant Parmesan, lasagna, copiously antipasto salad..... Delicious!!! They have a couple of tables for eating there but I always take out.

I doubt they sell anything that is not 5 star quality. Fantastic panini and pasta.

I’ve driven by this place for 15 years, a tiny shop/restaurant in a strip mall near the Vons I grocery shop at and always wondered about it. I’m not a big pasta person. I ordered their meat lasagne via door dash today… absolutely delicious!!!!!! I might be eating more pasta soon and will definitely be trying the meatball sub some day soon.

Can't go wrong with Pasta Night. Fresh pasta, marinara and a caprese California salad is the perfect combo for a cost effective week night dinner for the family. Love it!

For the longest time I’ve been looking for a simple delicious sandwich, growing up my mom made them all the time, soft, crispy, whatever I wanted. It somehow always tasted perfect. So wherever I am now I look for something like that, but you’d be amazed how difficult it is to find something so simple, people always try to create crazy combinations, but never get the basics right. I came across Rosanna’s the other day and decided to try a turkey panini. Telling you that it brought me back to my childhood isn’t even exaggerating…. Crunchy, flavorful, perfect amount of turkey, focaccia was delicious and I love the circle it came in. Yes it scrapped the roof of my mouth but hey, love hurts!! And this place hurts in the best way, in my deepest childhood memories. Of course had to come back for the meatball sub. Everything that I ever wanted and more… never in my life have I eaten a meatball sub in a crunchy crunchy bread and I always imagined it’d be great, sauce everywhere but no soggy bread. And if that doesn’t convince you, my girlfriend that never dares to eat messy food in the car agreed to one bite of my meatball sub and inhaled all of it…in the car, just us two, crumbs everywhere. Of course I had a panini as a backup !

Best food in north county amazing meatball sandwiches

It's a little local shop for take out, light groceries and dine in. We wanted to eat somewhere quick but not wanting to do a sit down restaurant. This was perfect.
Brent was so nice and helped us a lot. We got the special sandwich and made our own pasta with meatballs, vodka sauce and fettechini. We added a large garlic bread and coke.

Next time we will only get one of the Mel's because we only finished half of each. It's made to order so you'll wait but it's worth it. Everything tasted amazing and we saw a nice steady flow of customers. We are trying the pizza next time.

My first time to Rosanna’s and all I can say is wow! Being from the Bronx I can actually say it’s definitely pretty close to an Italian shop on Arthur Ave.
The only thing I couldn’t find which was very disappointing was Pastina. The shop is on the smaller size so of course they can’t stock every Italian food item. But they did have sausage and peppers and eggplant Parmesan subs which were to die for. 🤩
I only wish the sausage was thinly sliced on the sandwich, there’s something about biting into a sausage and pepper sandwich with whole sausages. They had my favorite dessert, Sfogliatella which was delicious but was the smallest one I’ve ever had. 🤌🏽

I will definitely be returning to the shop. 🇮🇹🍝

I would go to Rosanna’s multiple times a week for lunch and always get their turkey & cheese sub. First and foremost their homemade bread is fantastic. Soft , fresh and flavorful. They also put pesto Mayo on there as well which really raises the quality of sandwich. The staff here was also quick, attentive and friendly. Their fresh pasta and cheeses look great as well. They carry many Italian cookies and wines as well.
