Why is it always closed, just go to any other Starbucks, they update there times without saying anything there always closed when they say there not on the app
drive thru closed but people are working doesn’t make sense but sure i’ll waste more time coming in what a crock…

Kenzie gave us the biggest attitude for no reason. Note we gave attitude right back but only in response to the attitude given to us first. We walked in and showed her a previous order on the phone, since it’s easier that way. She rang it up for *two* drinks, but we only wanted *one* - a previous order on the screen showed two. We apologized immediately and clarified that we only needed one.
That’s when the attitude started. Instead of simply confirming our order, she acted annoyed. Because of her attitude, we decided to cancel the order. She refunded it, but while we were waiting, she asked if the money was “back on our app.” We said no. Then she said we needed to scan our card so she could put it back… but she never asked us to scan anything in the first place.
The whole interaction was unnecessarily rude. I have never experienced such attitude over such a simple correction. If someone starts off disrespectful, I’m not going to sit there and take it.
If this is how Kenzie handles basic customer interactions, she really shouldn’t be in a customer-facing role. Maybe working in the back making drinks would be a better fit.
If Kenzie is your server, I recommend turning around and walking back out.
Manager: please review the cameras and see clearly who gave attitude first, because it wasn’t us.

This is our fav Starbucks. I've been going here since maybe 2004. Love the outdoor fire pit. The baristas are always so friendly here. I use the app whenever I order at a Starbucks and I always thank the baristas when I pick my drink up. This seems to be one of the only places they'll respond to the thanks. 😂. They've also never messed up a drink and we are pretty gnarly modifiers.

I placed my order at 4:10 PM and didn’t walk out until 4:19 PM — nine minutes for one simple drink. There were five employees on duty, yet the pace was painfully slow and lacked any sense of urgency. One person was just aimlessly sweeping while others moved at half speed, chatting instead of focusing on customers.
To make it worse, I overheard a barista mocking a customer who had just called to complain — making fun of him right in front of everyone. That’s not just unprofessional; it’s disrespectful and completely unacceptable.
This Starbucks at 905 Orpheus Ave, Encinitas needs serious management attention. The slow service, dismissive attitude, and overall lack of respect for customers make this one of the worst Starbucks experiences I’ve ever had.

When my wife was 8 months pregnant and asked to use the bathroom, the person at the cash register insisted that she buy something first. I get that it’s your store policy, but come on… have some decency.
Every time I order here, the staff has pup cups ready for my dogs without me even having to ask. This might not be a big deal to most but it is truly my dogs' favorite part of the morning every day and means so much to have them loved on! Personal notes on every drink and they are always quick and efficient - the ideal coffee stop :)

I went into this Starbucks around 4pm when it wasn’t busy and ordered a London Fog, tipping $2. When I got my drink, the barista had written “thanks?” on the cup, which came across as sarcastic and unprofessional. There was no rush, and the interaction felt dismissive despite the tip. This location doesn’t seem interested in providing basic courtesy or service.

The establishment has no chairs or tables. I saw teens sitting on the floor while waiting for their orders. If you don’t care for customers, they won’t care for your establishment.

App says in store and drive thru open until 8pm. Doors locked when we got there at 6:30 pm with no hours or signage indicating why. Only an QR code pointing to the standard hours. Employees inside motioned/indicating that only drive thru open.
That is bad communications, subpar service.
Not impressed.
