The owner is so hard-working and super nice! She was very kind to our children, we only found out when we got home that she had put extra donuts in the bag! Really fresh and soft high-quality! We definitely prefer family owned donut shops!

We have a family tradition of trying donut shops all around San Diego and on our travels. We have found that quality comes with independently owned places where the owners are artisans who make their donuts themselves and whose livelihood depends on their reliable product. Super donuts #2 is just such a place and our favorite donut shop in San Diego. Not fancy on the outside or inside, cash only. Just great donuts.
