“I thought that the store was one of those run down stores, but was really delighted to try it out! $2.50 for a jelly-filled donut, which is the highest price of any single donut, was really worth it for my tight budget, even as a brief trip! If you need a quick and cheap breakfast, a drink and donut for around $5.00 is what to expect here! If someone of this store notices though, I could also prep up a new graphic icon for Salida Donuts! Just let me know. 😉“

“Oakdale friends — go check out MATKAT Café! 🤍☕🥪 We stopped in and it was delicious. I had the chicken salad on fresh-made cranberry walnut sourdough with an iced vanilla coffee, and my daughter had a grilled cheese with brie and Havarti plus a lemon turmeric sourdough. Everything was fresh and so tasty. They also offer wine, mimosas, and beer, which makes it an even more fun little café spot to enjoy. So excited to have MATKAT Café here in Oakdale. Definitely worth stopping by!“

“I want to give a BIG thank you to Sophia of Nothing Bundt Cakes of Modesto I had an order to pick up tomorrow but I had checked wrong date. When they called today at 5:10 I apologized and if I could pick up tomorrow. Told them Allan was in hospital and coming from Ripon I couldn’t make it before closing. A few minutes later she called back and said. Would it help you if I brought them to you. I live close to you. Such a nice young lady. I’m so grateful for her doing this for me. So if you need any Bundt Cakes. Tell them Sophia is the Best There are still Good people in this crazy world. A little kindness makes a persons Day. It did mine“
“Cute little shop.It was empty I didn't even know they were open. The sign was off but they were open. They had good a selection and good prices. The only thing was everything was day old. The lady said everything for today was baked yesterday. That's always a big disappointment if I can't get fresh warm bread from a bakery. I got a chocolate croissant hoping it'd still be soft from yesterday, sadly it was not. The Bavarian bun was ok but didn't taste fresh. I popped it in the air fryer and it was really good. I bet they taste amazing fresh out of the oven. Really good price for those buns. Might go back for those.“

“Coming from Manteca we don't have a place like this. Bagels are fresh, they also have fresh squeezed orange juice, some pastry selections, and fresh cut fruit. Been here 3 times. It's very busy weekend mornings. The space is small and they have about 3 small outside. You can also order ahead which I imagine is convenient for locals.“
