Just being straight forward.. this is a fast food place.. I like their burritos and carne asada fries.. They also have great salsa and probably some of the best menudo in town! However, their other plates are overall not great. This isn't and won't ever be a place where I come for a sit in dinner again.. My shrimp plate was not good, including both the rice and beans.. Customer service sucks and the atmosphere is chaos, I couldn't wait to get out of there.. When I decide to return it'll definitely be through the drive through.

This place has been in my hometown forever. They have had their ups and downs but the last couple years it has been very good and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place if you are in escondido, ca.

Best roll tacos and carne asada fries. Love this place and the tortas are good too. Eat here once a week and they have drive through.

I came here for two reasons: according to Yelp, the California burritos are good, AND the customer service is the worst. Well I love adventure (and horror), and since this place has a perfect 100% Health Department score, I had to try it. I came it at 11:30am and asked for the California burrito. The lady behind the counter was friendly. She smiled. Borderline flirtatious, but hey, I'm pretty hot. heh heh. So no bad issues at all with customer service. The burrito was pretty good but it did not have guacamole. Damn. A California burrito is basically a carne asada burrito with fries. My guess is the bad customer service starts at night. I'll have to come back at night to test that theory. The hours say closed on Tuesdays. Today is Tuesday and they're open. Nobody in the drive-through (It's raining pretty hard). Oh wait, here comes a car... 20 seconds to order. 6 seconds to drive from the order menu to the window. 4 minutes and 40 seconds to get their stuff and start driving away. Not too bad. So aside from a guacamole-less California burrito, this place is pretty good. The bad reviews were either corrected by the owner, or the difference in customer service depends on when you come. I'll have to try it at night. To be continued...

Food quality has gone down a lot over the years. I just ordered a chicken quesadilla, drove 5 minutes back home and they put so much tinga (supposed to be just chicken and it was super salty) that it’s completely soggy and can’t even pick it up.

This doesn't seem to be a 24 hour restaurant I've tried to go there a couple of times now in the early morning and they're always

As someone who's been eating here for almost 10 years. I've never seen shrinkflation hit me this hard. I understand prices change but almost $9 for a breakfast burrito AND it's half the size, is wild.

It’s open 24 hours except for when it isn’t and then there’s a bunch of cones in the driveway and you just drove 25 miles to eat

I believe the speaker system at the drive thru makes it difficult to understand on either end. For $10 you can get a small bowl of Pico with a side of carne asada and rice.

This is one of 3 places in town you can get food at 24 hours. They are the only one that isn't a chain either. I have been going to Antonio's since high school. It was one of the only spots open after a concert so we would stop here for a burrito after coming back to Escondido. I love their breakfast burrito with sausage. I haven't ventured out much on the menu which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I haven't tried more than maybe 2 items there. What I like about them is that they are always open. I haven't eaten inside for years and probably wouldn't now. It can feel a little sketchy in the area in the middle of the night but I can always depend on them. Of course I'll be back the next time I'm hungry at 2 am!

The expensive shrimp burrito was awful, a few shrimp and just full of peppers. We waited 20 minutes for our food and they must of been cutting up onions as customers eyes were burning. We eventually got up & went to sit outside. Now let me say at a different time I had a bean and cheese burrito & a quesidilla & it was decent priced and was very good.
