This place has been in my hometown forever. They have had their ups and downs but the last couple years it has been very good and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place if you are in escondido, ca.
I came here for two reasons: according to Yelp, the California burritos are good, AND the customer service is the worst. Well I love adventure (and horror), and since this place has a perfect 100% Health Department score, I had to try it. I came it at 11:30am and asked for the California burrito. The lady behind the counter was friendly. She smiled. Borderline flirtatious, but hey, I'm pretty hot. heh heh. So no bad issues at all with customer service. Just being straight forward.. this is a fast food place.. I like their burritos and carne asada fries.. They also have great salsa and probably some of the best menudo in town! However, their other plates are overall not great. This isn't and won't ever be a place where I come for a sit in dinner again.. My shrimp plate was not good, including both the rice and beans..
