Hidden gem for sure. I can't say who the secret chef is (because we recognize the flavors and near-identical tastes), but the menu is split with another local favorite - fusion... so the mix of items is vast. Generally something for everyone, so no one will be left undecided. It was quiet and empty when we dined, but definitely a worthwhile stop.
Great food and good service. Friendly people everywhere with great music. Had Mediterranean platter chicken combo meal and some mojitos. The music was good but too loud and didn’t like the fact that they charged extra when paying by credit card. This is a big no for me.

A hidden gem! We are travelers and just wandering around Escondido looking for a place to grub....and they beckoned us in! Super nice guys serving and bartending and really good food!!!
