Ray, the owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The cabernet was exquisite, I was not expecting that kind of complexity and tannin-goodness. My wife had the Sauvignon which had a unique profile due to the technique they are using - very refreshing.
The view of the valley is gorgeous.
We will be recommending this little gem to all our friends.
We discovered this charming winery boutique by chance, and it truly turned out to be a hidden gem in San Diego. The wine was absolutely amazing with a breathtaking view. The owner was a pleasure to talk to. We visited a few other places nearby, but this winery offered the best high-quality wine in the area.

Highland Valley has an impressive line-up of fantastic wines. Barbera, Zinfandel, Malbec, Cabernet. The Zinfandel and Malbec they are pouring right now are better than any wines I have ever had from Temecula. Just delicious. The views from the property are amazing. I love going here and you will too!

Had a lovely time wine tasting at Highland Valley Vineyards. Couldn’t choose a favorite because we loved them all so much! The owner, Ray, was very friendly, we enjoyed learning about each wine. And the view is just unbelievable ? we will definitely be back!

One of the best wineries in this area! The seating area is looking over amazing views! The owner is so nice and friendly. And we can bring our own snacks to pair with their delicious wine! I'm definitely coming back, and I highly recommend this Winery for a relaxing wine day with spectacular views!
