I actually learned of Altipiano Vineyard and Winery on the PBS program, Fresh Glass, several months ago and took special notice since I had plans to visit San Diego. I’m so glad my son, his wife and I came here! First of all, just picture the perfect San Diego Sunday afternoon. The weather was gorgeous, even the traffic cooperated. Great local wines especially the Sangiovasi and friendly people... (most expensive tasting in the region for three tastes even though the Sangiovese is outstanding)
This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with friends. We really enjoyed the wine, and walking the vineyard. This is a North County gem.
