First time trying Santa Ana Mexican Food and it did NOT disappoint ๐ฅ๐ฎ
From the moment we walked in, the service was welcoming and fast. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell everything is made with care the meats were perfectly seasoned, the tortillas tasted fresh, and the portions were generous.
The tacos were ๐ฅ, the burrito was packed and satisfying, and the salsa had the perfect kick. Honestly, one of those spots where every bite hits.
Place was clean, staff was friendly, and the whole experience felt authentic not just another average Mexican spot.
Definitely coming back again, and bringing family next time. Highly recommend if youโre in the area! ๐ฏ๐

A huge menu with lots of interesting options, including breakfast. The $3.50 tacos are a little bigger than the usual street taco, with a good quantity of meat, cilantro, onions, and guacamole. I got adobada and asada versions which were reasonably tasty and just a little too chewy, with no gristle. The salsa bar is among the very few in Escondido, with five great housemade salsas of varying heat levels, plus radishes, and pickled jalapenos and carrots You can get a plate of hot, fresh tortilla chips for only $2.00. I'd give it five stars if the meats were a little more tender and well-seasoned. Ambiance is plain taqueria with a few tables inside and out, and the service efficient and fast.

My credit card information was compromised. The last place that I used it was here. They waited exactly one week before charging my card.
Buyer beware!
$2.50 for a medium size drink REFILL. This is ridiculous! Food has gone down in quality.

We came to Santa Ana Fresh Mexican Food to grab a burrito and carne asada fries, and wow, we were not disappointed!
The San Felipe burrito was absolutely delicious. It was a little soggy, but the flavor totally made up for it, SO good! The carne asada fries were loaded with generous portions and hit the spot.
One thing that really stood out to us, they included salsa in our bag even though we completely forgot to ask for any. When we got home and realized it was already in there, we were impressed. They were a step ahead!
Also, shoutout to the young gentleman at the register, super kind and helpful. Great food, great service. Highly recommend! ๐ฏ๐ฅ

I've liked most of the items I ordered here. Burritos and cheese enchilada combo plate are good.

I'd recommend. I had the grilled shrimp burrito. The best tasting shrimp I have ever had inside a burrito ๐ฏ. So flavorful. Large as well. They have amazing salsa bar with sautรฉed peppers and onions and other condiments. I loved their hottest salsa a lil spice with flavors. Relaxing indoor or outdoor seating. Portion size 10/10. Atmosphere 10/10. Quality 10/10.
Best nachos
Never again I get a breakfast burrito here I paid 11.31 for burrito that was probably made with one egg sure was not potatoes it was made with fries burnt by the way.
