Incredible atmosphere and amazing food
Crispy fries in the steak and frites were soggy from the sauce over the beef. The meat was ordered medium rare, and had zero pink remaining.
The blue cheese dressing on the salad was served in a tiny cup and had the consistency of 2% milk. Even a fast food joint does better than this.
Did the bartender ever wonder how the meal was or bothered to refill my glass? Nope.
Skip this place.
Very good!
I recently celebrated my 22nd birthday at Stone, and it was an unforgettable experience! Having visited before, I already knew the food and drinks were fantastic, but this time, everything exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is enchanting, especially with the beautiful lights and outdoor seating, making it the perfect backdrop for a special occasion.
We were fortunate to have a private area all to ourselves, which added to the celebratory feel. The food was absolutely delicious, and the generous portion sizes left everyone satisfied. The service was impeccable once again, with attentive staff who made us feel welcomed and valued.
One delightful surprise was the complimentary beer brought to our table—such a nice touch! To top it all off, they surprised us with a decadent slice of chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful evening.
I truly love Stone Brewery and the inviting atmosphere it offers. We will definitely be returning for more memorable experiences. Thank you for making my birthday dinner so special!
Props to the employees new and veteran working the 4th of July!!
We used to enjoy coming here, but unfortunately this restaurant is not what it once was and it has recently sold. The service was mediocre throughout: our server was inattentive and got one of our orders wrong. We used to know most of the servers and we saw a completely different crew.
The beer is still excellent and the poke nachos remain delicious, but beyond those two items, the experience was disappointing. Sadly, I can no longer recommend this restaurant.
Stay away from:
-the burger (I used to always get a vegetarian option. No longer an option. No veggie burgers)
-Mac & cheese (tasteless)
-Kung pao Brussel sprouts (too sweet)
-prime rib sandwich (Lacking flavor)
Heard they are closing
Beautiful, friendly and helpful staff, amazing food.
Excellent place to visit with the family.
What a wonderful indoor outdoor setting with lush gardens, trees and water features! Their beers are great and they have a nice selection of wines. The food was very good as well. Great for couples, families as well as large groups celebrating special occasions.

Not impressed. Food is underwhelming and their beer selections other than IPAs are weak. Oh, and everything is sticky
I visited Stone Brewing Escondido on Saturday around 3:00 PM. The bar was not busy at all, and we were greeted promptly when we arrived, but unfortunately the service went downhill from there.
After being seated at the bar, we waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came back to take our drink order, and only after we flagged someone down. The staff seemed more focused on chatting with each other and polishing glasses than paying attention to guests waiting to be served.
Once our drinks arrived, we waited another 15 minutes before having to flag someone down again just to place a food order. Throughout our visit, no one offered us water, and we eventually had to get up and pour it ourselves. The person sitting next to us was also being ignored, we were in disbelief.
We’re very easygoing customers and generally understanding, but basic attentiveness and service should be expected, especially at an establishment like Stone Brewing. We come here for the full experience, not just the food and drinks. It’s disappointing when service feels like an afterthought, particularly when the bar isn’t busy.
I hope this was an off day, because the atmosphere and location are great, but the level of service we received left a lot to be desired.
Very nice place. Go see it before it closes down for good. Corporate doesn’t need it anymore and is shutting it down.
We have been coming here for years and we decided to have my 50th birthday lunch here with my family. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with the service and food. When there are 2 people using the QR code at the table to order it is easy and quick, when you are relying on the wait staff to take your order for the whole table it goes downhill. She or the kitchen staff forgot items of food and brought out the wrong food. She then tried to convince my wife she had ordered the item and then realized she was wrong. It was usually 30 minutes before the waitress checked on us. I was only able to order 2 beers because the wait was so long. When the food came out the bread was soggy on the sandwiches like it had been sitting there for awhile. My table at the end of the meal started to go get their own beers at the bar, because we were getting no service. Whoever the male bartender at the bar wearing glasses and a hat acted like my family was putting him out and had an attitude. All they did was order drinks and pay at the bar. Maybe the staff needs some better training in hospitality and if they have to actually wait on a table how to perform the tasks of a waiter or waitress.
6:15 dinner reservation. We had a temporary server introduce herself and let us know our server was on his lunch break. Another server introduced herself a minute later and was confused when we said we were already greeted. She went to clear things up with the first server and ended up taking our appetizer order around 6:25. At 7:00 we were still waiting for the appetizer and our server finally introduced himself. We asked if he could check on the app. He brought it out immediately and it was cold mac&cheese. Another 20 minutes went by until we got a salad which we ordered around 6:30. Dirty, wet extra plate that I used my towel to clean off. Ran out of water and had to flag someone down to get a refill after being without water for 30 minutes. Dirty bus tubs at the table next to us for the first 45 minutes of being sat. Entree came and the server never checked if we were doing alright. We were planning on ordering a couple of entrees and desserts but ended up cutting it short. Super bummed out about the experience.
