We had an absolutely incredible time! While we were sitting there, they passed around free beer samples, and made the process super easy! I had the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing and delicious dinner
Such a wonderful location to take friends for a special night out. We had visitors from overseas and this was the perfect place for their last night before flying home - thank you Staff was great and setting is beautiful
First time diners. My wife and I had an inside booth. Very quiet. We could have a conversation at normal volume. Server Mary Beth was great and the food and beer were outstanding. I had the centennial burger and my wife the fish tacos. Forgot to mention the great design of the restaurant. High vaulted ceilings with odd angled walls. Gothic chandeliers everywhere. We'll definitely return.
We went at 730 for dinner and it was freezing in there. We requested an indoor table but it might have been warmer outside with the heaters. When I mentioned the temp to our server he said at least the fans aren't on, it's even colder when they are. ???? I think the restaurant is a little tired there.
This was our trip to Stone this week while vacationing in the area. Never got our servers name, but he was fine. However, Evan came by to check on us and was extremely warm and welcoming. As usual, we started with the Mac n' Cheese. I had 2 street tacos and my spouse had his favorite Poke Bowl. Can't wait until our next trip to the SD area.
Always a great time. Fun bringing colleagues that haven't been to Stone or are not familiar with Stone. Yet to get a negative review.
Bad service by waitress ... we asked for refills and never came back, took a long time to bring our food
Nice courtyard seating but it was under the trees and bits kept falling into our drinks and food. They served us someone else's beer flight and comped it and brought the right one, but we later heard that table complaining they never got their beer. They tried delivering other food and drinks to use 3 more times and we kept saying wrong table. We were told to check our tab online and message if we needed anything, but when we did, no one came over after. Did not enjoy the food - my katsu chicken salad had black pieces of old greens in it, dressing had no flavor, chicken was rubbery and salty. Husband got the braised short rib and it was a small hunk of over cooked meat in a bowl - not worth $32. Daughter got the pretzel and it was very dry even with sauces. Son got fish and chips which he said were ok, but fish was cut very thick and fell out of breading. No one asked if things were ok or if we wanted anything else and yet they added auto gratuity to the tab for 4 people. Did not see that anywhere listed, but maybe it was. Probably because they know the service is crap and people won't tip otherwise. There was a decent dinner crowd, but the place was not packed and no excuse for any of this.
Recommend an early time on a non-weekend day for the very best experience. Faster service, better ambiance etc. It can be a “zoo” at the peak times.
Nice unique ambiance
Decent food, somewhat expensive
Service-seems understaffed for demand

We had our rehearsal dinner at Stone Brewing in Liberty Station and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the service was amazing—attentive, friendly, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great time. My throat was sore that night, and they even brought me warm tea, which was such a thoughtful touch. The bocce court area was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our group. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to celebrate before the big day!
Had an amazing time with my boyfriend here on a date🎆 our server was Blake and he was so nice and provided great hospitality 🙌🏻❤️
Use to eat at stone often. We haven't been there for over a year and couldn't believe how far it has fallen. From the reception desk to the profusely sweating person who seated us. Waitresses were seldom seen. My short rib was very nicely prepared. The crembroley was awful. The coffee came in a dirty mug and was cold. They brought a replacement mug which also was cold. A wasted evening!!
This was my first time dining here and it was great! Atmosphere on the outside patio is awesome, service was on spot, food was delicious. The Birria sandwich is amazing! Evan the manager came out and spoke with me to welcome me as my first time. If I lived in the area I'd go to this place all the time.
Atmosphere amazing. We came in the evening after sunset. Sitting among trees, ponds, lights. The patrons were all very happy and relaxed. Just an enjoyable dinner. Food was delicious. We had the Salmon and Flat Iron steak. Service was very friendly and attentive.
