Pleasantly surprise of this find. We were in the Escondido area and needed to eat lunch. Food was really good, plenty of tables inside and outside. Ordering is easy and food came quickly! Good selection of their beer. Someone was going around with samples!
We had reservations and we're happily seated in 10 minutes early. The restaurant was relatively empty which is surprising since it was a holiday. But then Stone became stone with its service. Even though we placed our lunch order when the restaurant was a quarter full, it still took us 45 minutes to get our four entrees. It's not unexpected when visiting stone, but this is whyIt'll be several months before we come again. Food was delightful, per usual.
I have visited with my large (14) family and each time the service, selection and drinks have been extraordinary. The servers have been accommodating and polite. The food selyseems to hit a happy median of comfort and unique. The selection of brewery fare has been tasty and experimental. The family enjoys the outdoor space where the littles can explore yet be enclosed. Kudos
