I stopped by Sunnyside after finding it on Google Maps. I had the Vegan Panini and hot house made Chai Latte. They were both hot, fresh, and delicious. As I ate I watched their Tedx talk on YouTube and was inspired by their story. Being a former Chef i went in and met Kate, the Owner. She and her staff a re very friendly, welcoming, and love their community and it shows. 🙏 Give them a try sometime.
Local Mom & Pop panini shop and more! My favorite is the Works sandwich because it has bacon, egg, avocado, and three different cheese (with added pesto and red onions based on a recommendation from a review I saw). I like the fresh squeezed orange juice and recently had the best handmade lemonade! They are have delicious brownies 😀
Staff are great hosts and have plenty of seating indoors, front, and back.

This place is always a great experience. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming every time I come in. I come here regularly and they never disappoint. On one visit, I accidentally ordered the wrong item and they were kind enough to replace it for free without any hassle. That kind of customer service really says a lot. Highly recommend this spot! Wake-up Escondido sandwich is a must!
