The vegetables were so complete over cooked tonight. WAY over cooked so the broccoli was mush. Really disappointed.

My husband and I finally got a chance to try this place at the Welk Farmer's Market today. We ordered the Jack Sparrow combo to share. The ribs were a little on the dry side. Although the seasoning was tasty, it was a little overpowering. We also prefer our ribs with the membrane removed. The rotisserie chicken was excellent! Very moist and well seasoned. The coleslaw was nice and fresh. Not over sauced or undersauced. I thought it was a little out of balance on the sugar to vinegar ratio. I prefer mine a little sweeter. The rosemary potatoes were excellent! We arrived at about 4 pm. From the time I first stood in line to order, it only took about a total of 15 minutes to get our food.

Phenomenal food. I got the half chicken + 2 pork rib combo which came with incredible rosemary potatoes and grilled veggies. Everything came with generous portions, piled high. The employees were helpful and kind, moving fast to make chicken and ribs on their rotisserie truck.As for the meat, the chicken was tender and juicy with delicious crispy skin - is there anything better? The ribs gave it a run for its money - a lovely bit that fell off the bone with a sweet & savory glaze over the top.Bar none, the potatoes were a standout. Crispy outside with light and fluffy inside, they were well seasoned with rosemary to provide a lovely flavor. They paired amazingly well with the chicken!If you love quality food and great service, look no further. I highly recommend checking out Swiss Grill!

Make sure to check it out during the Welk Farmers market on Tuesdays.Not really sure if they have an actual restaurant, or if this is more of a side business, but really didn't expect it to be this good. They know how to attract customers with their open air setup, showing you their delicious bbq. The taste lives up to the looks!If you're in the area, make sure to pass by and the the Jack Sparrow... Has a bit of everything, Perfect chicken, great ribs, and those delicious potatoes and veggies.

We stumbled upon the Swiss Grill at the Vista Farmer's Market and it was just amazing! I ordered a whole chicken, it looked so good just rolling in front of my eyes. The meat is very tender and juicy, the skin is of a crispy golden brown - yum! I am actually from Switzerland myself and let me tell you this food made me feel right at home. The potatoes were both soft and crispy with the perfect amount of seasoning. I also had a pleasant chat with the owner Daniel who lived a few miles from my hometown - so we ended up talking about stories from back home!
