My husband and I visited Brick & Fire in 2014 on our honeymoon, and loved it so much we made a point of returning tonight. We were not disappointed- everything was exceptional! We shared a bunch of appetizers and a dessert. Delicious food, perfectly balanced flavors, absolutely wonderful! I wish this bistro was in our hometown…we’d be there every week! Thanks for the fantastic meal!

Food was undercooked, service didn't seem pleasant, windows in restaurant looked dirty including the curtains in front of it. Used to like this restaurant but won't be going back.

Not very good at all. Was hoping it would be based on other reviews. Disappointed and pricey too.

For what we tried this place does serve up some tasty food. My fish was cooked perfectly. The complimentary bread was delicious and fluffy. This place is really small though and my husband being exceptionally tall didn't seem to be as comfortable. The tables are close together so you'll be able to see what your neighbor table is eating and talking about. A little awkward if you want to use the restroom since you have to walk through the kitchen and people are cooking on both sides of you. When the weather is nicer maybe we'll try to sit outside.

Lovely little place I dropped in on a road trip without a reservation. Staff was wonderful and food came out fast. A little pricey but tasty nonetheless

Tried serveral times over a week to get a call back from this reasturant that has no reservatiin system and will only give you a reservation if they call you back, which they never do. Waste of time and effort. Join the 2020s and get a reservation system.

Definitely have had better for a cheaper price.

Great cozy spot with exceptional service and a locally sourced menu. The mushroom cobbler was one of the most unique dishes I’ve ever had, and it was delicious. Highly recommend visiting if in the area, seems like it’s best to make a reservation especially on weekends

Without a doubt the best fine dining in Eureka. We always have a great experience when dining here. The wine list is expertly curated and the the culinary fare is superior to any other Eureka restaurant in terms of offerings and execution. The service was excellent and prices were quite reasonable for the tremendous quality of the food and beverages offered. The staff also went above and beyond and we didn't wait long for any of the items we ordered, as many othe restaurants in our area have regularly much longer wait times. I would also recommend this restaurant to those with gluten allergies. I would gladly return and plan to do so regularly.

Brick and Fire Bistro served us the most delicious Margherita pizza I have ever tasted. Perfectly baked, airy-textured crust with just the right balance of cheese, tomatos (why am I thinking the tomatos were smoky, sun-dried tomatos? It's been a couple of weeks, but I'm recalling sun-dried for some reason), basil, roasted pine nuts, and black olives. We also shared a fresh and generous salad, the highlight being the perfectly ripened, just-right strawberries and nectarines(??).(It is described on the menu as Peach Caprese Salad, but the texture and taste I thought, was nectarines??) All I know is that it was late; maybe there were substitutions because it was a late meal, but every bite was delicious. Service was excellent; we were seated quickly even though we arrived during the last hour of service, and the place was near capacity. The bistro had a comfortable ambiance and a relaxing vibe. Driving to Eureka is no easy drive, but it is a holy pilgrimage to commune with nature among the great trees, AND the drive to Eureka is ALSO well worth the drive because of the pleasant surprise of dining at Brick & Fire Bistro.

The oysters are to die for! Had the soup… it was fair.
Would have given a 5⭐️ but few Gluten free options for me. Bread was frozen, did not want them to defrost it… means not fresh.

Visiting from out of town. Will recommend to friends who live here.

Dietary restrictions: Few Gluten free options.

Absolutely fantastic experience on our trip. 5/5 stars easily! We had drinks, apps, pizza, steaks and salad and everything was 10/10 for flavors and portions were perfect. Called ahead and got a table next door quickly.

Cameron was our server and had great wine knowledge and was able to source a glass of something great that was only listed as a bottle price. Cameron was an 11/10 and went out of his way to make our night out special.

Looking forward to coming back when in the area!

Last minute change of plans, they squeezed us in outside at the last table, only folks without a reservation. Place was packed, early. Food was fresh and delightfully prepared. Main issue was that the restroom was literally through the kitchen, had to hang out in the dishwashing station for a hot second waiting for it.
Seriously, though, get the Fig and Pig, it's amazing.
