Amazing find in this small town residential neighborhood! They were booked but found a way to fit my daughter and me in and it was incredible. Food, service, and ambiance was as good as it gets in any city! Definitely highly recommend, but it's a tiny place so make reservations!

Small neighborhood bistro, very cozy, nicely decorated interior, prompt friendly service, good wines. The meals we had were also excellently prepared, but the menu is rather small. (I had a hankering for the lamb chops, but they were out of them that night.) Nice birthday dessert tribute (candle in cheesecake -- no singing!). So I enjoy the food from this restaurant, but find it quite pricey for salad and pizza, so this place falls into the ‘special occasion’ category. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a date night option, with a unique spin on typical choices using fresh and interesting ingredients, for dine-in should make a reservation, they’re always busy even on a Monday night!

We felt lucky to get a table for 4 at short notice, so calling in a reservation is a recommended way to ensure that you get a table. The restaurant was busy and the staff were constantly on the move, plus there was an open pizza oven to keep everyone warm. It exuded a cosy atmosphere that was reflected in the interractions with the staff. This the #1 restaurant in Eureka, so be warned that it is popular. The food quality and excellent service are testament to their ranking.

Great neighborhood pizza, pasta and meat joint in Eureka. Very popular, so reservations are a must! Thoughtful menu and wine selection. We enjoyed the brick fire oven pizza (wild mushroom) the Mediterranean salad and a glass of Barbera wine. Delish!!!

A great 'find' on our overnight stop in Eureka. The staff were fabulous, and the food was excellent. Lamb chops cooked perfectly, with delicious potato, and mushroom sauce. Good wine selection too, and happy to provide a splash to taste. Booking recommended, as it is busy!
I think this is the best place in Humboldt to eat. Delicious food that makes you breath, sit and enjoy. The staff seem happy and treated well. I'd give 6 stars if I could. We eat there for every special occasion - most notably our engagement evening.
Wonderful find off the beaten path. Warm and cozy. I could have watched the kitchen all night. I had their corn and Pasilla pepper chowder. (Incredible) their beet salad, huge portion-enough for two. And their mushroom wood fired pizza. So darn good. Everything was expertly prepared and the flavors were fresh and balanced. They have a very nice wine list as well.

Pulled up on a Friday with my husband. We were super hungry & ready to eat everything. A host and/or server said she’d check to see if there were tables available (one could visibly see some open/unoccupied). Then a different woman passed by smiling & asked if we had been helped. We said someone was already checking on a table for us. Then a third woman came up, did a show of picking up menus, put them together (we thought we were going to be seated), looked up & said “sorry I’m all booked up today” and that was it. It was super weird. I wondered if maybe we weren’t dressed the part or something else. Wish we’d gotten to try the food but glad I’m not giving my money to a place that was possibly prejudiced against me.
