Had a carne asada burrito to go. It came with a bag of tortilla chips, 2 hot sauces, lettuce, pico, guac, crema in a paper clamshell with 2 paper napkins plastic fork and knife. Inside the flour tortilla was carne asada and refried beans.The taste of asada was bland and the texture was a bit tough with no grilling flavors. The result is mainly bean flavor. There were plenty of refried beans, but enough asada to make it chewy. Adding the other ingredients helped, but the tortilla was small.After reassembly and adding the hot sauce the flavor was much better, but still lacking the grilled and spicy flavor of great asada. Really needed more citrus, garlic, chili and smoke flavors.

Great service and food! I always get a chile rellano and this one made me happy because they took the time to remove the seeds! My partner got a huge burrito! The building is big and has cool art on the walls.

I'm from So Cal, so my expectations are pretty high when it comes to Mexican restaurants. Four of us had dinner here. Prices are reasonable for this style of place. Most dinners were between $15 and $20. Good selection on the menu. Each meal we ordered was average to above average taste. Chorizo breakfast burrito was the best. Ranchero burrito was mushy, probably from the water in the lettuce. Pretty bland, wouldn't order it again. Portion sizes were good except for quesadillas - large order was about half a meal's worth. Overall I think 4 stars sums it up. For this part of the country, good Mexican food, reasonable price.

Do not be discouraged with the prices well worth the money! Have ate at multiple different Mexican food restaurants, from several different states. This is by far one of my favorite! Best burritos ever! Definitely will come back anytime I visit little Humboldt county.
