Curry Leaf Reviews
We’ve been to Curry leaf restaurant three or four times now, and have always been delighted with the food. My grandson in law loves the beef chow fun and says it is as good as his Chinese father’s beef chow fun. The atmosphere is a nice change of pace and a good escape. Food arrives at the table hot and fresh, often quickly as well.
I had a hair in my kung pao chicken. A very large hair when told the waiter about it be didn't even apologize. He was very rude. The chicken salad was gross the chicken was extremely dry and the dressing tasted really bad the steamed broccoli and honey prawns was cold too the touch. the only thing that wasn't messed up was fried prawns and the gyoza which tasted like it came out of the freezer. The waiter was very rude i wanted to have some words with him how he was treating...read full review

Curry Leaf is a popular destination for authentic Asian cuisine in Humboldt county. The restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian options and has a pleasant atmosphere that provides a nice escape. The food is often served hot and fresh, with some dishes receiving high praise, such as the beef chow fun and the Pad Kee Mao, which is noted as the best in town. Customers have recently shared that the take-out food comes out pretty fast, and while the Malaysian curry chicken is really spicy, it can sometimes be dry. Some meals, like the pork belly rice bowl at $20, were not impressive, and the crispy chicken bun was described as very sweet with a fluffy, sweet bun. The Pad Thai offers a large portion but may lack in flavor. However, the Fried Rice kimchi with added chicken has been called amazing, and the lemonade tasted freshly squeezed.
Under new ownership, diners have found the dishes to be bold and flavorful. The Basil Eggplant and Pad Kra Pao have been highlighted as fantastic options. One customer even mentioned that the food is the best in Eureka, rivaling any place in San Francisco, particularly enjoying the eggplant, honey prawns, Xiao long bao, and Kung Pao beef, all served piping hot. The family-owned establishment is praised for its amazing food, kind service, and a variety of fresh choices, making it a beloved spot for many.
