I witnessed an employee with purplish blue hair SCREAMING at a potentially terminally ill teenager. All he was doing was drinking coffee and eating a doughnut. She DEMANDED / SCREAMED That he leave and never come back. He repeatedly asked her to calm down because there were children present. I think she was WAY out of line. I will never go in there while that emotionally unstable employee is there.

Used to be a great place until the new owners took over. Then they doubled their prices, changed their hours, and quality went down. They never have bags of coffee anymore. They’re never open. Remember when this used a be a community space and the old town location had event nights? Sadly, the new owners don’t seem to care about the local community. Also, bring the coffee back! It’s a coffee shop, not an etsy store

They are doing some really good stuff here. They have an insane number of syrups, so definitely give some odd ones a shot while you’re there.

The prices are nicer than everywhere else. The staff was polite, and the vibe was good.
What is up with this place??? They used to have amazing staff but now they make everyone wait so damn long!
Atmosphere: Fantastic, its got that cozy cottage core vibe that I think every coffee shop should have, its got plenty of choices and reasonable prices, and it shows off local artworks from local artists!!
Service: Fantastic. Every staff member is helpful, friendly, patient, and caring. I sat down at a table fully ready to pick my coffee up from the counter when it was ready, but they brought it to me and made sure I was satisfied without being overbearing.
Quality of Food/Drink: Its a little above average for your standard coffee from a coffee shop however it's still very good and I'd rather support more local businesses than bigger branches like Starbucks. They take phone orders, and are very quick to fill said orders. They offer bagels and biscuits, wraps and salads, all at fairly affordable prices as well.
Overall, I think I found my new coffee shop that's only a few blocks from my work place!
The hot chocolate was nice, I ordered a medium hot chocolate and one chocolate cherry jubilee, DO NOT EAT THE CHOCOLATES AT CHOCOLATES I HAVE HAD THE WORST STOMACH PAIN I'VE EVER FELT THROUGH MY WHOLE LIFE, worst case of diarrhea and the worst stomach ache. Take care yall 😭
Changing my review over the customer service they have and how the place is now. Went there a few weeks ago on a nice day asked the employee that worked at the coffee shop to put a table and chair outside because they offer outdoor seating. The employee has such a poor attitude. She basically took the table and chair and almost just threw it outside when she was putting it down. Her attitude wasn't nice. On top of things my biscuits and gravy was a little off and the the bottle of diet Coke I got was two months pass expiration date. Plus they have less pastries to pick from now. Plus hours are short there now. Won't be going back.

I have gone to Old Town Coffee and Chocolate in Henderson Center multiple times around lunch 1pm and they are no longer serving food. Recommend calling them before you decide that's where you're having lunch. Very Very Frustrating.
The sausage breakfast burrito was delicious!

I remember when on a Saturday morning it was hard to find seating if you were late (after 9 am). Today at 9 am I am alone in the store, with exception one guy pouring coffee to go. I wonder what's up with that? I can relate to an earlier posting complaining about their bagel being flat (mine was also). A woman did bring my order to the table, but then again, who else's order could it have been. Coffee was good and so was the "bagel"! Hope things change soon, else the owner may shutter the store???

They squished the heck out of my bagel, and it's barely toasted... I mean just look at it! Plus... The service was not great. Barista was rude and kept staring at me. They asked for my name for my order, and in small places like this I usually prefer to avoid giving my name due to gender troubles... She refused and said that they NEEDED a name for the order. Uncomfortable! Not a single smile from her either....I work retail and I know it's hard to put on a smile some days, but I felt like a chore to them today. Then of course when they called my order they didn't even use the name! The cafe is crowded and there are multiple homeless people camping on what few tables they have, and many tables and chairs are just shoved carelessly in a corner... And to top it all off, my bagel is like this. I miss the bakery that used to be here....

I asked the employee with the blond braid to top off my drink because it was too strong for me. “Could you please top this off with some soy milk?”. I was met with resistance and told that it was gross because I touched it. No what is gross is you handling a bunch of receipts etc and then touching my cup. Have you heard of washing your hands? I can’t believe I was called gross at a place I have frequented old town and Henderson for 15 years. I won’t be back. PS I offered to pay for it.
Not open at 8am, no sign, hours online still say they are opening at 730am.
