This was recommended for it's food. Did not disappoint. Fish and chips were amazing. I usually can't eat an entire serving, but I wasn't about to leave a delicious crumb on my plate! Beer was also great.

Best clam chowder . It was steaming hot , not warm like most restaurants. . Very good food everything we had was great. The waitress was also bartender& had control of a full house. She was friendly & knew her job well. We will be back .

Best fish and chips in Humboldt. The Firecracker shrimp are also a favorite. Always great service even when they are packed. Fun atmosphere.

I was up here for a business trip, and was advised that this place was definitely something to check out. After a short walk from best western, the place struck me as a dive bar. I ended up ordering some chicken wings and a quesadilla. The wings were tiny, but the quesadilla was good. Prices were a little high for the quality. The staff was minimal. Probably will not revisit, but its ok if you want to try it once.

Always a fun place to stop. My wife takes all the pictures so sorry none from me. Atmosphere is mellow, it gets busy at times, but always a fun place to stop. Lots of beers, service is great and if you enjoy spice, try the jalapeño poppers, big but worth it. If you are looking for a fun place to have drinks, enjoy some good food, this is a wonderful place to visit

Fish and chips are excellent. Bartender Charlene is fast, efficient, friendly, and frankly awesome at her job. Food came out fast and reasonable prices.

Extremely overpriced for bar food; the prices you see on the menus online are outdated. We liked most of the food we ordered aside from the fish and chips, it was pretty greasy/oily. We felt sorry for the bartender having to serve everyone at the bar, plus the people at the tables. Would’ve rather spent $75 dollars at a nicer restaurant for lunch; a bit steep if you ask me.

Vista Del Mar has great food and drinks (especially their burger & fries and Bloody Marys), easy parking and a fun down-home atmosphere. Just be aware: every time we have visited, there has been just one incredible person taking orders, bartending and delivering orders for the entire place. They have always been kind, patient and VERY hardworking. But since they are understaffed, food takes over 1 hour to arrive! It's so good though, I have to give 5 stars.

Bomb food, great tap selection, good vibes, cool staff! Very fun place to go and get great food and drink. One of the best Clam Chowders I have had in a good while. The fried pickles also top notch with a very tasty ranch.
