Becky was our waitress and she was fabulous! Food was delicious and the butterscotch pudding was chef's kiss! My favorite Italian spot in Sacramento!
Fabian's is a neighborhood restaurant. We went when it first opened and the food, ambiance and service was on point. As the years have gone by, so has the quality of the food. It was unpleasant to look at. Tasted bland and was very cold, considering the place had only 8-10 guests. I was sorely disappointed since I wanted to come back to an Italian restaurant. But I will not return. I was very disappointed.
WOW, what a surprise. Food was delicious and the service was attentive, friendly without being intrusive. We did Easter Brunch can't wait to go back and try them for dinner. What a find!
Easter brunch outside was lovely. Relaxing atmosphere and delicious food. Chocolate Nemesis was a rich dessert to top off the afternoon.
We moved to a Sacramento home two years ago and yesterday found this bistro. It is the most marvelous restaurant that we've gone to in the Sacramento area. We had a quiet booth inside great waiting staff and the food was marvelous the bruschetta, full bar drink and the vodka sauce penne were so delicious! Then the butterscotch pudding was so delightful!
I love this restaurant. Our dinner was delicious. But service timing was well-off. I ordered wine w/ dinner which wasn't served even after I asked the server for it, (when he brought the food.) I still waited and finished almost half my dinner. I asked a third person.... and still waited. I had the wine AFTER dinner. Similar trouble w/ dessert which arrived well-after my coffee and got cold as I waited.
This is my favorite brunch spot to come for birthdays and special occasions. Great food and atmosphere.

Food is great and the patio is the best in Sacramento Area.

Great food and great drink at a premium price. The patio is enclosed with 8 foot tall redwood fencing which makes it easy to forget you are in a strip mall. Strings of lights hang from a tree in front of the restaurant adding to the positive ambiance. The staff was pleasant and timely. The food was very good, and the custom cocktails from the menu were amazing. 4 drinks, an appetizer, 2 mains, and a dessert totaled $190 plus tip. It felt pricey, but we don't eat out much anymore since restaurants have doubled their prices over the last year or so. But the quality of food and drink warranted this level of spending. We will be visiting again for special occasions.
Looking for an intimate experience and fine dining? Look no further than Fabian's. Good food, atmosphere, and the staff are very pleasant. Come with friends or that special someone and enjoy the full experience of fine dining.

This restaurant maintains its food quality REALLY well so we eat there often and have yet to be disappointed. Everything is tasty and they do nice seasonal rotations even into their brunch menu. The setting is relaxed and very pretty. Service and/or the kitchen seemed short-staffed; it took awhile to get served but the servers are very gracious and the food arrived hot and delicious. The pumpkin pie creme brulee was wonderful.
We had another fantastic evening here. The food, service and atmosphere were all great. The patio feels magical with all the lights and greenery. I love how they let their customers set the pace, we never feel rushed and always feel so well looked after. This place is such a gem!
The food was excellent. It was my birthday so I chose to go to Fabian's and I was not disappointed. Chicken piccata was fantastic. And the olive oil spiced cake was a perfect ending to the meal. Always great service.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Fabian's last night! They have a fabulous special Sunday meal including Caesar salad, choice between two different pastas and a special chef's dessert. We especially loved the Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese and the Pot De Creme dessert...butterscotch pudding, caramel, crème fraiche, and sea salt! Look forward to going back soon! PS....Excellent service too!
This was not a good meal. My salmon was raw, and I had to send it back. Someone else in my party had a hair in her cocktail. The quality of the food has definitely went down hill over the past several visits here.
