I got a few pies on a last minute order, and they were speedy and efficient and delicious. Easy parking too! They are also super if you want just a slice. Outdoor seating and friendly staff. My son rated this the best pizza in the country for what it's worth :)

Mauro's Pizza is my family's favorite pizza in all of Marin! It's fantastic! And the owner John is really nice too. I'm from NJ where pizza is a religion (We love pizza so much we named our dog Pizza!), so when we moved to Marin in July we went on an obsessive hunt for the best NY-style pizza and its hands down Mauro's. It's got a soft, chewy dough with a slightly sweet sauce and delicious cheese. I can't recommend this place enough. Our 2 favorites are onion and plain cheese. And it reheats really well, so we always keep extra in our freezer. My mouth is watering as I type this. Happy chewing!

Best Pizza in Marin hands down!!!!!!!!!!!The only reason this place isn’t well known is because of the restaurant's location. No inside seating, only outside and it’s next to a local cleaner. The pizza is my family’s favorite. ? I don’t like thin crust but LOVE their pizza and its thin crust. It’s crunchy, chewy, cheesy, spicy, and mild all at the same time. I’ve never been able to actually taste the mozzarella cheese on a pizza before. It’s always been hidden. But even with toppings the mozzarella taste comes through. Completely addicted!! I guarantee you it’s the best pizza you will ever have on the west coast. Strong statement I know. But it’s true. I seriously tell everyone I know about this place. Try it ???????

I ordered the lasagna bolognaise. First of all I think that $16.00 for a take out portion is a bit steep. There were 8 layers of pasta. 8! The sauce tasted commercially made, and there was very little cheese. Between the layers there were perhaps two tablespoons of sauce. The noodles themselves were ok, but it did not taste fresh. Dull and heavy. It tasted institutional, like what you would get in say, and assisted living program. Very disappointing.

I was craving pizza, and I'd never tried Mauro's so I decided to give it a try. I ordered three slices, cheese, mushrooms, pepperoni. I can't say that I liked any of them.

I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and it had a wonderful fresh taste. I also ordered the squash homemade ravioli. I was able to buy frozen and make at home. Great portions for the price. Planning to come back again.

I've been going to Mauro's for 5 years or so. Whether you get pizza or one of their great dishes to go it is always awesome. I recently had the stroganoff which had short ribs on top of a delicious sauce and pasta. It was just about the best stroganoff I have ever had. This is a major statement for me as I love to make stroganoff and this was as good if not better. Can't go wrong.
