We enjoyed our meal from JayBabas! We got Egusi, pounded yam, tilapia and jollof rice. I called last minute but he was able to have our order ready for pick up at a very good time. The flavors were delicious perfectly seasoned and the fact he asked what spice level was really a game changer. I’m Congolese so my spice level is very high but my young kids spice level isn’t as advanced as mine yet so the spice level option was perfect. The food was balanced, flavorful, and clearly made with love. My absolute favorite was the Fried tilapia & rice my daughter and I finished that one pretty fast. He seasoned it like a grandmother would so that should tell you what you need to know. Very kind guy and wonderful food. I will most definitely be a returning client. The most delicious meal I have eaten in recent memory. I ordered the egusi and fufu with chicken over the phone. Takeout only. They are a catering business. The owner was very responsive, professional, and prepared the food in a timely manner with such short notice! I thought the stew was perfectly seasoned, meat was cooked very well, as it was tender and juicy. A customer was also outside and told me he orders food for the entire week from this business. I will absolutely be back to try the other dishes and recommend this business to my friends.

I absolutely love JayBaba’s food. Super fresh and hot every single time. Very accommodating, when I got braces he switched the tougher meats to mushrooms so that I can still enjoy it.

I recently ordered a meal from JayBaba's kitchen, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The jollof rice was perfectly cooked with a rich, savory flavor that was enhanced by the fresh green peppers and carrots. The JayBaba kitchen food was fantastic! I have tried it when they catered a wedding in London ?? and I also tried it when I visited California ??My favourite was the grilled tilapia and rice! The chicken and kebab was also my favourite! Authentic African food! Thank you!

Let me just say I live in the Concord area and it's quite a drive. But...Oh My Goodness. The food was just next level!! First bite you can tell the work put into this food! The seasoning was perfect and my boyfriend, who doesn't handle spicy well, ate this up!!! The turkey tails were our favorite! And I didn't even mention how great the service was. Jaybaba's kitchen is a MUST GO!
