A downtown favorite. Been going here for several years. Best bet is the Joe's Special-you get 2 meats instead of 1 for the same price. Extra au jus available at no charge. No military discount.
This lil jewel was definitely worth the drive from Sacramento... we both had a Joe's special... with a side of both macaroni salad... and potato salad... the sandwiches were phenomenal... hands down one of the best I've had in a long time.... and the ajou put it over the top... the macaroni salad was good... but the potato salad OMG... soooooo good... my grandma's recipe is a family must have... but Joe's is just as good... maybe even better 😲 this is definitely...
I ordered the French dip which was packed full of meat.... The pictures are accurate with the amount of meat provided. The au jus is delicious... I'd order a vat of that to-go if I could. They have several side options but while there I heard that the combo meal options are no longer provided so, everything is a la cart. The provide s, m and l sizes starting at $3.49
