CASH Only [Fairfield CA] We took a little detour and stopped by this small bakery located in a rural area in Fairfield. We drove in and parked on a private lot and was met by a crowing rooster and a bunch of geese (they were on the other side of the fence). Most bakeries I've been to open early but this one opened at 9:30a. We were there at 9:45a. Inside are shelves full of homemade merchandise from honey spoons and stirrers to jars of jams. We also found a tub of sea salt caramel and a small selection of salt water taffy and Crazy Pop Straws.. Towards the back of the bakery are the baked good -- custom cakes, homemade cookies, pies, and muffins. We purchased a couple of chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were crispy, crackly, buttery and not soft and chewy like what I expected. It was still good, just not my preference. By their cash only policy it limited my purchase since I didn't have enough cash with me. Review #3399

Got there at 3:00 today(Sunday) and a lady was just staring at me like I'm trespassing on her property. She followed me around I and asked her nicely if the place was Knopps bakery. She said no! It's closed like I don't belong. What a bad experience so far. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Rude and just overall not helpful. Hours said Sunday from 9:30-4. Take your business elsewhere.

Absolutely love this place. Feels very nostalgic and like home. Hidden gem in Fairfield. The owner is so wonderful and her pies are the best. My favorite is her apple pie and cookies. Highly recommend all her home made pastries. Grateful for this beautiful shop

Fun little place with lots of options for candy. Unfortunately, their YELP has not been updated as they do not serve ice cream, which is why we were heading there. No seating inside, plus it was very warm inside the shop. Lots of fun options for kids and adults alike. Will definitely back to grab one of the pies that are offered. Don't go there for ice cream though!

The lady on the phone was hella rude just to tell me they don't have a website so i can see pictures of their work. Sucks for them I need to order 7 cakes.
Not sure what happened but I recently bought two whole cheesecakes and one of the cheesecake tasted like bananas? Was that a banana flavored cheesecake? Not sure if that was something new to the menu but my guests did not like it. I preferred the original cheesecake which I assumed I ordered.

I came across this little bakery while working and went inside for a snack. Boy am I glad I did. The apple chunk cookie taste just like grandma's apple pie. The lemon muffin is amazing and I'll be heading back in a couple days to get more. Only downside is cash only but well worth it. Pics on the next trip!

Absolutely love this place! Cash only, you've been forewarned! Located right off of Rockville road, if you don't slow down, you might just miss the turn. They have a variety of desserts, but the main star is their cheesecake and well worth every singke penny. Make sure to call ahead because they do run out fast.
